I don't see how "four" comes into play, and I don't think its a sense of humor thing. The pun is that the word "forebear" contains the same sounds as "for bears", humorously implying that something that belonged to our forebears is literally for bears. A pun is when you use the same word for multiple distinct meanings, the pun regarding the sound "for" is between the words for and fore. The word "four" has nothing to do with this, other that it sounds the same as the words actually used in the pun

This is leagues better than any other recent Friday Nights. Adam as a beacon of positivity plays so well against Cam's cynical contempt. The B plot wasn't as strong but the sudden appearance of Serge made it worth it even though it felt like the punchline overall was missing.

I don't think there is any shade being thrown. That is just you projecting. What is happening here is that Paul is known for tinkering excessively convoluted decks, and that is what it is. If you don't like the precons, that's a "you problem", and they might not be a product intended for you anyway.

So the Commander pre-con products were never really fit for the 'needed cards' part of MTG. Sure, there have been some, but the focus of that product is for Wizards to print whatever the heck they come up with with little regard to Modern or Standard environments. Its a product MADE for Commander players. Most of those cards wont see any play in Eternal formats but I can tell you that my Commander decks and Canadian Highlander LOVE some of the new cards printed.

Pretty much the default commander for turbofog or really any strategy where you just don't wanna get hit with things. You can play cards like Seedborn Muse to activate his ability on everyone's turn which is where it really gets nutty, and typically you either equip him with Lightning Greaves or play Aesceticism to make him harder to remove.
