Those pink shorts are going to be fab. Knit wide legs pants are the dream. I hope you love them. I have made 5 pair of the wide leg fortuna pants/joggers out of various knit fabrics. Ponte, sweatshirt fleece, sweater knit and more. I live in them daily. Even if you don’t wear them out they are great for home!

Oh Rachel I love these makes. Gorgeous jumpsuit, but the trousers do look fantastic on you. I’m not even a dressmaker, I quilt etc, but I dream about making my own clothes and thoroughly enjoy your videos. ❤

I love your makes. And can empathise with having a son at Uni- we also had the driving lesson hassles during/following COVID. And I think it’s hilarious they can be apparently so hopeless with some tasks (booking lunch) but so utterly brilliant in other ways. They just have different priorities and we love them for that 😊 have a lovely day whatever you do.

Brilliantly healthy waist:hip and waist:height ratios, Rachel! Congratulations! I've shied away from pleat front trousers because I've told myself they bulge a bit over the tummy but yours look excellent and seem to drape down in a very flattering line. My favourite pants are the True Bias Landers. They fit me really well and I think it's because you do the inseams first and then fit over the waist and hips. The pattern allows a full inch seam allowance for the outside seams so you can adjust. I did have to use the curved waistband from the Ginger Jeans pattern though. The Lander waistband gaped horribly at the back on me.
