I always thought part one was boring but I never wanted to admit it. I like Friday 13th movies way more than Elm Street movies but I was rooting for Freddy in FVJ because Jason was a dumbass in that.

That was one of the biggest things I found with Freddy vs Jason. I'm a Jason fan 100% but freddy made the movie incredibly entertaining even though he only really killed one person in the film. I know a lot of people hold the first movie in high regard but I do find it incredibly boring and I know a lot of people won't agree with me on that but to each their own.

I'm with you about F13 Pt. 1. It's not bad, but it's the one I'd be least likely to watch given the chance against most of the others. 3 had some pretty goofy moments thanks to the hamfisted 3D stuff. I did not like the reboot, it was just unnecessary. I also enjoy X despite it's ridiculousness. I remember when I originally watched it I had expected to hate it due to what I have heard, but was surprised on how my I did enjoy it, same with F vs J.

I know a lot of people hold the first one in high regard and trust me i do recognize its importance but it really is a boring film for the most part. I'm pretty much with you with Jason X and Freddy Vs Jason, I had my doubts that both movies would work but I was really surprised with how much I enjoyed them. I have a lot of fondness for the remake even though I know why people had their problems with it.
