Hopefully a 4K U.S. release for Friday the 13th Part II is around the corner. It's really frustrating when studios lock popular titles in a box set and force you to buy films you don't want.

The only way I would buy part 2 again is if they restored it because I already own the Shout Factory boxset and the Steelbook sets plus DVD sets and other Blu-ray sets I was disappointed Paramount didn't continue with the Blu-ray Steelbooks for part five and the rest of the original series that sucks that the footage from Carl Fullerton isn't on there can you buy this separate without buying the boxset

after i saw those shitty cheap looking slipcovers i am going to wait for a stand alone 4k or if they dont release it on its own ill import a 4k with the original poster art on the slipcover...another thing that pisses me off is when they give us those cheap cases with the center hollowed out on a 30 dollar premium 4k release, i noticed with imports from the uk and the netherlands you always get a solid case.

The Scream Factory blu-ray looks great, but having seen Friday The 13th Part 2 projected on 35mm, it's missing some of that filmic grindhouse aesthetic you get with genuine 35, even with 4K upscaling. I'll definitely pick this up once it gets a standard release. I was also at the convention where they shot the "Friday's Legacy: Horror Conventions" featurette. Unfortunately they didn't use any of the footage with me in it, but it's a nostalgic extra for me to watch.

I’m just sticking to the blu rays.. I’ve seen Fridays, Halloweens, and Nightmare on elm st’s about 1,000,000 times.. it’s pretty much a waste of money for upgrades on movies I’ve seen sooo many times

I have the scares set coming. Please do a video on how breakdown looks. This is the main reason for me.Picking up the set outside of friday part two. Brock, my son and I went halves on it, and I am looking forward to receiving this. I have been looking for breakdown on blu-ray for quite some time. I'm amazed at how quick it went out of print.

the trimmed out gore scene's still exist, for most of the more heavily cut F13 films. I really hope they find a way to give us parts 2, 4, 6, and 7 in their full uncut glory. I know that the uncut gore from parts 5, 3, and 8 no longer exist. Great review !

@@austinwillcut4919 I do not know if its been confirmed, but I've only seen stills frome those films. Whereas you can watch the uncut footage from 2, 4, 6, and 7 on youtube. Aside from 7, the other footage looks fixable enough

I have the first Halloween 1978 and the 4k blows the blu ray out the water, I don’t have any Friday the 13’s though… don’t feel like wasting money
