So, is it weird that I'm somewhat looking forward more to the production tidbits James goes into than the actual kills? Like, it's weird, I've always been into film production but not so much that I'd go out of my way to find out stuff unless I really, really loved the film, like Jurassic Park. But now I'm actually more excited to hear what fun (or weird or sad) facts about production or how some stunts were done that James has in store than the stuff I already know is coming.

Not weird at all. Kills are kills, a dime a dozen in horror films, but those behind the scenes secrets are unique and special. For example the actor Steve McQueen had a reputation for being very demanding, insisting on weird things like a bunch of pairs of jeans and electric razors when doing a film. What a prima donna, right? As it turned out the items he requested were donated to a boy's reformatory school. In other words he was trying to help out some troubled kids that probably hadn't known much kindness. I think those kinds of facts are pretty cool.

It makes the video feel more wholesome. You learn about the locations and whether they were build in a studio or real. You learn details like a staff member having the mask lying around, which became Jason's iconic mask. I can never find anything on Roy Burn's mask. Jason had a mask from a specific team yet there is nothing like that for Roy Burns, a character that I found interesting as he was a bit like Pamela as in they both blamed everyone. Roy killed everyone but his son's murderer which is sad and the he killed the punk girl.

Chris is my favorite Final Girl from this series as well and I kinda wish she could’ve came back(cameo at the beginning of The Final Chapter doesn’t count). For me Richard Brooker was one of the scariest Jason’s as well and I wish he could’ve played him more than once before he passed away but what can you do. Part III is in my top three for the series. I love its blend of humor and horror. Yeah it's not a scary as other entries, but I find Friday the 13th works best when it's on the more lighthearted side of things.

Actually it's more like Tuesday the 17th. Chris hits Jason in the head with an ax on Saturday the 14th. The police come and take her away the following morning on Sunday the 15th. Jason escapes that night. The following day, on Monday the 16th, a group of college kids rent the house next to the Jarvis family. They spend the night there, and then the next day on Tuesday the 17th they go skinny dipping in the lake, invite the twins to join them, and then back at the house they get picked off one by one by Jason. Yeah, I think about this stuff way too much. Still love these movies though.

Rick's death was a bit cheesy from a 3d perspective, but I still think it's one of the most brutal kills in the franchise. That scene always stuck with me. It gave me nightmares as a child. I remember at the drive in nobody was expecting all of that 😄 It showed just how strong Jason was. Part 3 is a underrated classic.

That's kind of the plot of Friday the 13th part 5. Not a sanitarium but troubled teens with various psychological issues. Also the plot of Nightmare on Elm Street 3. The movie Bad Dreams.. etc lol But if you wanted people trapped in a building being killed by Jason I totally understand that would've been a DIFFERENT (maybe more interesting) direction for the Friday/13th Series.
