So funny! FYI, Imperial Leather soap had the metal stickers 'cos bathrooms in some posh houses had a specially designed nook in the bath tiles (mid-way along the bath) that acted as a 'suspension soap dish'. The was a magnet at the top of it that the soap bar stuck to, so the soap was suspended, dried quickly after use, and didn't get all gooey at the bottom.

OMG - We HAD one of those and I’d completely forgotten about it. Bathroom sink. Didn’t use the posh Imperial Leather, though; we used a metal disc that pushed into any old common soap bar and then snapped to the magnet!

I never knew Peter had an encyclopaedic memory. His knowledge of tv programmes and their scheduling is unsurpassed. Like Bob Monkhouse and Bob Hope he has a tremendous repertoire of gags. The only difference are that Peters are funny and his situational stuff is brilliant too. Sorry Bob but you did once say you boasted that one day you’d be a comedian but no one is laughing now.
