Aye. Peter's a goodun', m8, but at my age I still remember owld Fred from Bolton fearlessly climbing the chimneys and knocking them down, and up steeples . . . now he was also a goodun' as well. Sadly he just didn't meck the same kind of brass for doing that though . . . but he did get a an MBE and a statue before and after he left us.

Cracked me up when he said 'She's a rum un'. Where I come from originally in northern England that's a common phrase, meaning she's mischievous, etc. However, I once tried to explain it to a Londoner and they had no clue.

@@tonygorham No, that's not the same thing. You just proved what I was saying 100%. Rum un means cheeky, mischievous, etc, Wrong un, means they are a bad apple/bad person. For instance if you said in the north ; 'She's a bit rum'. It would mean she would put out i.e, she would be 'up for it' such as being easy to get into bed, etc, not that she is a bad person per se.

@@kurluk04 apparently, he had it over 20 years ago and was given a blood transfusion. He was told that if it came back it would be terminal ☹️ I just hope to god Evans has got it all wrong, but they are friends. I saw a vid on some other channel last month that Peter is pretty unwell at present. He's my favourite comedian and I'm keeping everything crossed for him.
