You’ve cheered me up this morning! 😘 Yay for huge cutting tables! What a blessing to have a husband who is skilled at making and enjoys doing it for you. I’m eager to see your new space and your cutting table. Sew with joy!

Oh, I’m so glad, Lynn! My hubby is an engineer, and he is great at figuring out good solutions to things like this, so I am really lucky :) Can’t wait to get my cutting mats and start sewing!

I really like the denim colour you've chosen. Not having made jeans myself, I'm always looking for bought jeans in that weight and colour. Looking forward to seeing them finished 😊

@@carolbibby3089 Thanks, Carol! I really like those dark wash jeans, too. They make me feel more «put together», but still comfortable. I’m really excited for this collab. Maybe you want to make your own jeans, too..? 😉

I absolutely love your toaster hoodie! Genius idea!!! And the fabric is so gorgoeus! That’s unreal that you’re getting a cutting table. I cut out on the floor 🙄🙄🙄

Always love watching your vlogs, so I was very happy to see your Friday Sews thumb nail come up on my feed this morning! As you do more collabs in the future (and I’m sure you will) more people will find your channel, which as you said is not the reason you have a channel, but it’s lovely to see a community of creators and sewists who enjoy and appreciate your work come together! And you’re so right , perfection isn’t realistic in sewing (ask me how I know this!) so wear your Frida and enjoy it! Can’t wait to see your renovated sewing space and amazing cutting table… getting down on all fours to cut out a pattern is definitely over rated! I’m going to research EPP because the process may be something I actually tried years ago without having a name for it… I’m intrigued. Enjoy your break and see you next vlog

@@JulieH1958 What a lovely comment. Thanks, Julie! I am really happy to be part of this community of sewists and creative people, and it has given me so much joy. Can’t wait to dive into EPP, and I hope that it will be a nice thing to do between other projects :)

I’m so excited for you and your sewing room. Round of applause 👏🏼 👏🏼 for your husband! Are you considering dipping into projectors for your patterns? Adding a projector set up is on my 2024 bingo card 😉. Thank you for your vlogs! You brighten my day ❤

@@debbiegauvain8539 oh, I’m so glad Debbie! I have been thinking about a projector, and now that I am getting a proper cutting table, that is absolutely an option. I think I need to do some more reseach. If you end up getting one, please tell me how you get on with it!
