You did a great job with the stripe pattern match. The Naya tshirt looks very smart too. My last sew was the tilly Lyra which was a while ago seeing as our new dog takes up most of my spare time. I have a few wips in my sewing room which is a bombsight as I'm trying to sort it all out so I can't see all the bits. Thank goodness for kallax boxes 😂 have a wonderful weekend ☀ ☀ xx

I don’t have a mannequin either so I measure down from the waist all the way round and draw a chalk line, then cut off any longer bits

Your Lea is gorgeous, I've got a mannequin with a hemming guage but Sian (kittenish behaviour) has done a youtube video how she levels hems on full skirts by measuring from the waust ljne, might be worth a watch 😊 Love your stripey dress. Tunnelling is so annoying, I've either changed stitch length or tension when that occurs or just use normal guterman if the garment is not being stretched on the body with a slightly longer stitch length (lisa comfort tip) x

I always get a bit of a panic on when cutting the hem on the bias. I find measuring from the waist line is the most helpful process and generally works out for me. I’ll be following your chat here to see if anyone suggests other techniques 🤩👍💕
