We stay at the campground next door every year and almost every night we walk to get our evening ice cream. Townsend by far is our favorite place to stay. With Burger Master, Cades Cove, and tubing what more do you need!! Great video.

It isn't a destination spot for sure but we stay in townsend often, if riverstone has a long wait on takeout we will sometimes get burgers from here. My wife loves their ice cream though, me? Take me to the cove for ice cream!

The best hotdogs in Townsend are right down the road from there at Parkway Grocery. They are amazing.

Okay-funny question, but can anyone attest to what the bathroom inside is like since this renovation? I’m getting married at Cades Cove next week, and meeting my photographer here. Hoping to try the food and considering changing into my wedding dress here, instead of in the Cades Cove Campground bathrooms. Not from the area, so can anyone tell me if there’s a mirror in the bathroom, single restroom or more, generally clean? Gotta figure out if this is a contender for that lol.

I will say this ,the casing on a good hot dog should have a snap or chewy texture to it ! Just means you getting the real deal and the burger looked great!

O! I love that place. I go there every time I'm down in the Smokies. They are closed in the winter, bummer, but understandable. The burgers are a big sloppy mess and after awhile you learn the art of eating one. Enjoy (I'm jealous right now)

I'm like you guys I'm spoiled to my homemade chili. I also like burgers on the grill made with Lipton's onion soup mix worked through the hamburger patties. I'm spoiled to hand dipped hard ice cream not a fan of soft serve. But my husband loved it

Mike & Karen - you went out of your way for a hamburger and hot dog🙃I liked the video, but, the only thing I have gotten from this place was a soft drink as we were going "tubing" at River Rats right next door. For a quick snack, this place isn't bad to grab a little something before heading back to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. All in all, I'd eat here only if I were starving!

We just got back from the smokies and I was very disappointed in all the food. From Paula deans (which everyone said was awesome) to ole reds. Honestly the food wasn't that great. When we go back we are gonna try the old mill, we hear that's a great place to eat also. Anyways, love yalls videos started watching them a couple months back.

I wasn't too keen on their hamburgers (meat was too dry for me) or hot dogs & chili (too spicy for me). But we like to stop for an ice cream. Last time we were there, they had Mayfields ice cream....it is THE BEST! Okay Karen....fess up.....post your chili recipe please! 😁
