Youre not too early at all. Better to start when youre younger when you have more time and brain space to than when youre an adult and wont have as much time to start making your own food.

@@soulsnatcher5408 she or he is not that young. my brother is 12 and im sure even he'd be able to handle something as simple as this. i dont think theyre in that much danger as long as they are reasonably careful and whatever they do wrong (like not giving enough time for the oil to heat up that it starts to pop out of the pan) they'll learn from, even if it's through fear/pain (getting hit by the popping oil). even full adults could and have done much worse in the kitchen, since they werent taught how to cook properly before and then suddenly have only themselves to get food from. it's understandably worrying that a 13 year old is learning to cook possibly by themselves, but i dont think its actually that problematic.

Omg thank you for this! My grandma used to make potatoes just like this and I was looking everywhere for a simple recipe. I tossed these with diced bacon instead of olive oil and then folded that into an omelette, and and it was KILLER. Thanks for sharing!

Just made these and their the best homefries I’ve ever had. I cooked mine on medium heat and stirred/tried to flip every few minutes. Cooked them for 10-15min and they were bomb!!!!!
