Fried noodles with bean sprouts/taugeh sweet ( Kuching hawker food 炒豆芽面甜)

This is one of my favorite hawker foods in Kuching. I always thought that we could find it everywhere in Sarawak but I was wrong.
Ingredients:
250g fresh oily noodle for frying
1 egg or more ( up to you)
A handful of bean sprouts
2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoons palm sugar / brown sugar dilute with 2 tablespoons of hot water
1 clove garlic, minced
Cooking oil for frying
古晉炒豆芽面（甜）
原料：
250g 油麵
一顆雞蛋（或2，按個人喜好）
一把豆芽
2湯匙老抽（黑醬油）
1湯匙生抽（醬青）
2湯匙椰糖或紅糖用兩湯匙熱水稀釋
蒜末少許
食油

Miss this so much!! Is the dark soy sauce you used the kicap manis / the caramel version?

Hi, don't use kicap manis. Just use the normal dark soy sauce you can get in your asian grocery (老抽）. Mine is Lee Kum Kee brand, FYI.
