I think it’s great that you highlighted Ben and how he cooks with his daughter. My first time seeing your videos was watching you cook English muffins with your daughter and I was so impressed with your patience.

Love making fried rice on the Blackstone, I just seem to never have the same end result each time! But I keep trying. I would love a rice cooker though. One more thing for the counter or pantry!

Practice makes perfect! And is there really any bad fried rice? We don’t think so!

Do you cover the rice while in fridge?
@alf35539 ай бұрын
I tried making a chicken fried rice once last year. Yup I didn’t have my portion’s right & never tried it again, but that was late in the season. Not something I want to make in the cold & yes it’s still cold here & snow. Maybe I will start with a bag of stir fry veggies first.

Just curious. Why don’t you use sesame oil?
@thehungryhussey9 ай бұрын
It's personal preference. I'm not a fan of the flavor for some reason.

I would suggest pouring the sauce around the rice first to caramilze it a little before mixing into rice

When I read the rice package it says not to wash the rice because it takes away the nutrients away from the rice.

He say where the wok for the wok hay where the shallots where the chili pepper where the sesame oil 😂 Where the fire 😆 not an induction stove lol😂
@thehungryhussey9 ай бұрын
Haha... He would probably knock points off for no wok, but a lot of this, I'd say he'd approve. He uses chilli pepper, I use sweet bell.

Just went in watched it. The guy just bangs his fork on the grill the whole time and doesn’t give ingredients, temps, or instruction? Also why is his rice red? How is this a better tutorial?

If you had included the temperature you put the grill at it would be great. Thumbs down as a first time user
