Friedemann Vogel and Mizuka Ueno in 'Giselle', Part 1

The first part of the Tokyo Ballet's 2009 Production of 'Giselle' with principal ballerina Mizuka Ueno and guest star Friedemann Vogel of the Stuttgart Ballet. Vogel is one of my favourite dancers and Mizuka Ueno is spectacular as well, so please enjoy! I will try to upload the rest very soon.

Thank you Zach -- I have never had the chance to see him in a full length ballet before (although he is very nice in Chant du Campagnon erant)-- quite nice -- more than nice -- such lovely line and those diagonals in the last act wonderful -- almosr no one does them anymore -- I was also impressed with Hilarion -- since I cannot read Japanese I am hoping you can tell me who he is??

Hey Zach! Thank you so much for the videos! I've got a question actually. I suppose you've seen the French version of it ( the one performed by L'opera national de Paris). So the question is: In terms of technique how good is Tokyo Ballet's version compared to the original?
