We are having warmer and drier weather from a mild El Nina. The equatorial oceans cool down. In our latitude we have had an extended warm and dry period that is ongoing. Its cooling off slower than usual here in Arizona.

I'd say this isn't a true La Ninā year. It's November, and there's still tuna around. 🎣 🙂
