Na... Axolotls are natural. Humans only changed the colors of them. There are many other colors you can choose from. I mostly prefer the original wiltype colors (only color that exists without human changes). But even this wildtype colors are differrent but again they are all natural. Each axolotl is different in its behaviour, appearance and character. This makes every Axolotl unique...

@Slingingbulb unfortunately you'll have to set up a second tank as the male will always try to breed with the female and the female could die of exhaustion from laying eggs all the time. I know it's tricky because male can take up until 18 months to actually show.

A long time ago my cousin once rescued one of these little guys from a river near her aunt's house. They think someone dumped their pet there. Thankfully her aunt was able to find someone to take the little guy in. The poor thing would have died if my cousin hadn't found him. People please take good care of your axolotls. 😢
