Rushing the entire team to airport with 100 tickets is risky but still a valid strategy. Last time I played this layer we used a more methodical approach that can also work. There's a spot just outside main(southwest) that provides just enough cover to slap down a radio and mortars. Dedicated a few guys in my squad to run smoke to cover for other squads pushing. Once you cap airport those mortars are in range for the next couple of capture points (Highway bridge, VCP) and are quite devastating.

Sadly we didn’t win, but we did what we could and diffidently was the best squad that made a difference.

Vehicles are key in such a wide open map. But if I were commander I'd keep them far off, less likely to be touched by AT but still around to give support. It's really a difficult balance.
