Thank you both for sharing this information.....it is essential that we get the correct information for each issue. I loved the statement "more of a good thing....is NOT a good thing". Education is key and several Doctors out there really need to be brought up to speed. I have never used probiotics, I have thought of trying them but always found that there were too many options and didn't feel that I could make a properly informed decision. So, thank you for a wonderfully informative interview with an incredibly intelligent, professional and knowledgeable clinician! Love your videos and if it takes an hour to convey the message, then you have my attention for however long it takes. People need to prioritize their time and their health and well-being should top the list! Great work Ladies ❤🇨🇦

Have you used probiotics before? Has this interview been helpful? Let me know what you think and what topics you would like to hear more about in the future! -Lindsay

This interview was amazing, and choosing pure probiotics seems key. I think you are doing amazing, and i look forward to your videos. As far as future topics, it would be great if you could delve into fasting strategies, ketosis, thyroid imbalances, detox methodologies, and immune strengthening inn general. Thanks for all your work! P.s. you should add a “join,” button to your channel so we can subscribe to you monetarily, so we can show our appreciation.

Outstanding Lindsey!! 'I' personally am ALL about long form interviews n' such, but sometimes it may be an 'idea' to have a sort of 'Cliff Notes' version {inn addition to the longer form I meant}...be it via text or video clips from such. I just am not sure if a lot of pple are able to dedicate an hour or more at times in this busy world. Greatly appreciate this info and myth busting.

I make water kefir everyday, and infuse it with a pinch of baking soda and salt, to enhance the mineral content, and to speed up the fermentation process. This probiotic drink, has me noticing that I am very regular. Also I have been very resistant to sickness, and even omicron, could only give me slight symptoms. I have also made milk kefir from my goats in the past, and I was never even slightly sick. I think probiotics are extremely important in healing our gut health which has been greatly wounded by things like antibiotics and contaminated food.

baking soda enriches you with only one mineral - sodium. perhaps even harms the live culture

Fascinating and educational! I’ve not really known about Probiotics and only recently learned about the importance of gut Microbiom through following Tim Spector and ZOE studies. As far as I know I think I have a healthy diet and have no health issues other than BPH like most 72 year olds! Only started taking any supplements (Vit D about 18 months ago, and annual health check confirmed I have a normal levels in my blood). Always good to be informed . Thank you.

I’m from Pakistan, aged 27, and severely underweight 41 kg. My nutritionist prescribed me 12 billion cfu probiotics but I’m thinking of starting by taking a 5 billion cfu dose of probiotics.

Interesting subject. In another program of yours you mentioned the importance of mouth and specifically gum health also in relation to Covid. I understand that Probiotics also help in keeping gums healthy but should they be ingested or taken orally for this purpose?

is probiotics good for persons with gerd?
@FriendlyPharmacy5 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for this excellent question. I asked Dragana for her take on this as she is more of an expert in this area. Here is her response: No specific indication or sufficient publications for probiotics in GERD. I had success with L. reuteri DSM 17938 ( BioGaia) in patients with GERD ( based on studies done in infants with regurgitation). That seems to offer symptoms relief. Hope this helps!
