I just got my test results back on Wednesday & have 6 to 7 1/2 times more bacillus spp & streptococcus spp than normal. I also have low of these normal bacterial flora: enterococcus spp, escherichia spp, & clostridia (class). I was also found to have allergies & sensitivity to many foods! My whole life was changed as far as what I can now eat. Hopefully this is finally the beginning of curing my condition which I have had for over 3 decades!

Hi it’s been over a year since you posted about your food allergies and test results mentioning you were going to change your diet. I’m just wondering if changing your diet helped I’m thinking of doing the same type of testing. Thanks so much

Thanks for great discussion. I was recently diagnosed with erosive gastritis w/h. pylori and prescribed two weeks of dual antibiotic treatment along with PPI. Have been eating whole foods plant base for years, along with fermented foods, and with very little processed food. Have had recurrent gastritis for decades but no full low attack in many years. No obviious gerd. Am concerned that h. pylori treatment will permanently damage my microbiome, and by extension my long term health, but seems on balance I am better off doing treatment which I will start soon once I have my diet diale in (no coffee, choc, or wine). Professional suggestions or advice welcome.

Interesting. I know H.Pylori can caused reflux, potential ulcers etc. I know there are other therapies that an ND might suggest but the “triple threat” treatment is fairly standard. Have you seen my recent interview on probiotics? I would venture to guess that probioticchart.ca would have some suggestions for an appropriate strain and dose - always best to check with a healthcare provider to confirm. Hope this helps!

I thought this was a great discussion. However I would have liked to hear about about treatments for sibo.

Is it safe to take herbal antimicrobials if I have some food intolerances? Can SIBO cause this?

I will definitely be re-watching this interview.....Wow 🤯 that man has a wealth of knowledge! How would one get the tests he is referring to from another Province or Country? My son has huge digestive issues....mostly heart burn and/or Gerd and I have been trying to get him to look into possible food interactions.....he uses Tums like a food group! Also he gets the hiccups several times a day, everyday!! Should this be concerning.....I know that he finds it annoying but it doesn't seem to cause pain or discomfort. He'll be 40 soon, so I can only suggest things to try. I am going to send him this video and HOPE that he will watch it 🤞 Thank you for another amazing and informative interview....so glad that I saw your interviews on Dr. John Campbell's channel.....you provide a wealth of informative videos 🇨🇦

Thank you for a lot of good information on a pertinent subject that, too often, is discussed by modern snake oil salesmen.
