A lot of comedians are known to suffer with depression & anxiety but like u said about Robin Williams, the world never got to see that side as it was all smiles with great comedic timing hiding their problems from the world. There is a difference, Matthew did not take his own life though. He was extremely vocal about his past struggles with addiction and he has been clean for the past handful of years. Has had a very fulfilling drug/alcohol free active life. Unfortunately his death will focus on his past rough years. All these people who worked with him in the past will come out and remember who he was and not how he amazingly pulled through after finding God in his kitchen with his father. Family and friends who were with him daily in recent years got to experience this amazing reborn man.

My generation has extremely enjoyed some of the best US TV series in the 90s, more so "Friends." I generally don't find many shows that truly provide comedy that makes you laugh not because it is trying so hard to make you laugh, but just simply funny while providing lessons to certain social and life issues. And, indeed, Matthew Perry, who plays Chandler Bing, truly made "Friends" so alive through his wit and sarcastic humor. As a fan of the show, it is sad to know that one of its beloved characters passed away too soon, especially at a time when he seemed to be successfully winning his battle with his own demons. They say that the most successful comedians are also those who have many sad experiences in life. Eerily, his last instagram post is also the same place he died. May he rest in peace and may his legacy of making us laugh reminds us that life is too short and as he wants to be remembered, the best way to live life well is "Love well, Live well and Want to help others". Bye, Chandler Bing, and thanks for making me laugh, as a fan, with your incredible talent in "Friends," "Fools Rush In," and the "Whole Nine Yards".

@jayaom4946 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I've experienced this with some of the funniest people I've known. They develop a habit of using humor to cover other feelings. Then they get great rewards from other people for doing that and they can't stop. The other parts of themselves need to be hidden because other people don't want that. Remember "Fun Bobby" on Friends? Everyone loved him when he was drinking and always fun but when Monica encouraged him to stop drinking and he did, suddenly no one liked him anymore!!! I think comedians really can fear letting people down if they're not constantly funny.

What's exceptionally sad is a news team lying on a thumb nail to imply the main group have finally commented. I hope that like myself, people wont click on anyone who has previously manipulated you to click. Show that lies will not be rewarded.

What a sad loss. I'm guessing after he got back from playing pickleball, he had a heart attack and drowned completely by accident. He probably didn't even expect something like that. He was so happy now, but, the damage the drugs did on his body finally caught up to him. Rest in peace Matthew Perry.

I just watched a Seinfeld show on TV and by coincidence, the guys were all wearing t-shirts with Friends written on the front of their Tees. The show was from 1991. RIP Matthew Perry I never really watched Friends, but as a Canadian, I've always loved Matthew Perry and the work he did. Rest easy, Friend.

When Matthew said alone us when the disease gets you. So sad he died alone when he had millions of people that had such respect and love for him as a actor and as a good man. I wish he would of had a wife and children and been around his family and friends to give him hope and love and strength and support. He is so deeply missed already its heartbreaking, his truly like family to people. One man has impressed so many and made so many people laugh. I hope he knew that he was truly blessed and loved. Matthew you will never be forgotten. R.I.P. angel we will miss you dearly you left to soon.💔😭

Matman said.. basically unless you're famous you'll never believe that its not what its cracked up to be it's not the life you'll want.. he hated having to be smuggled into places just to have lunch with a friend.. he was terrified of not getting the laughs.. he put so much pressure on himself trying to live up to the hype it almost killed him.. he finally gets his life sorted and then he loses it.. very heartbreaking 😥
