Alaska is an incredible place, and some of us are lucky enough to fly fish there. This Summer, Spencer and his best friend Lander (they've known each other for almost 30 years!) spent a week chasing fish all across The Last Frontier. They chased salmon, trout, and grayling, all while trying to outwit the famous Alaskan weather. Luckily for us, Spencer hauled a few cameras along and documented the journey!

Honestly, my favorite parts were you guys all disheveled in the truck. It shows the realities of going on trips like these and some of those drives are the best parts. Nothing better than catching up with good friends and experiencing the "trip".

That's so cool. Yes it is therapeutic! I joined a women's fly fishing group that was started by a woman dealing with grief. We all have our reasons for getting together and fly fishing. Community, shared love of fishing, healing, friendships, the love of the outdoors and the list goes on! Thanks for the Video!

This was valuable to watch. It's easy to use platitudes about, "the journey and the friends along the way," when fishing is outdoing catching. But it rings so very true here. Discretion is the better part of valor. Glad you decided to get off the water when it started to feel sketchy. Easy to NOT have common sense when you've traveled far to fish. Your friendship was very evident and made this worth watching!

Hey guys, I was wondering, could you do a video on how to fish a nymph without using a dropper rig or any kind of indicator? Like for example, high sticking without an indicator or dry dropper rig. I appreciate it guys.

If you haven't already, check out tactical fly fisher on you tube. It is Devin Olsen's channel and he is a member of fly fishing team usa. Their rules don't allow for indicators so they use that method a ton. Also Lance Egan, who is also a team usa fly fisher works for a fly shop in Utah called Fly Fish Food. Their KZbin channel is amazing for this content as well.
