Good job. Wearing a Lee jeans shirt made the lesson for me...true country boy.

Awesome tutorial! Instead of trying to perform that difficult stretch/barre its much easier just to play the 2nd Fret 4th string (E), to open 2nd String (B), to open 1st string (e), 2nd fret 1st string (F#), hammer on to 1st string 4th fret (G#). I believe it's the same exact notes.

Just wanted to stop by channel it’s because of this channel and my hard work I’m now on my 56 performance. Still work full time construction but I did 26 live music performances in 2023 I’m up to 5 this year and it’s because of people like Rob and this channel 😊

What about The Chair by Garth? There are a lot of people showing us how to play music but I have to say, you are within the top 3 out of hundreds. Thanks for being very thorough and not speeding through your lessons. I have actually learned a few songs by watching you. Thanks!

Just wondering why on the intro when you made the B flat you didn’t pick the 4th string but you have your finger there anyway. Why not just leave the string open if you don’t play it?

No reason, I just do it.

You are awesome man! Could you possibly do Standing Outside the fire? Cant find a single lesson...just a couple covers.
@LearnGuitarFavorites4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I'll see about that one👍
@RackNRoLLFarms4 жыл бұрын
That would be awesome. I found a couple of covers...one guy looks like hes using a natural Takamine and he's jamming it. Tempo is a bit faster than the original. I love that song because its so upbeat. Im climbing to intermediate and tried to do that strum pattern...shocked myself I actually could do it. Im just at that stage where palm muting, strumming, bar.chords, common chords are finally coming together. Of all the Garth tutorials you are by far the best so I thought...why not ask the best!!
@LearnGuitarFavorites4 жыл бұрын
Nice job in improving your playing! Glad you like the videos, Thanks!

I feel for those that give up. I know many do...Heck I almost did but I used the same training I use on horses. If I can't accomplish a certain task I try a different one and come back to it. Always moving forward and always progress. My wife has a beautiful Taylor 414 sitting in a case because she gave up. Bar chords made me want to quit and I kept looking for songs that didn't use them but I wanted to learn Dead Or Alive so bad I just kept on til I got it. Heck I still hate em but for those that want to quit...it comes...with persistence! I need to work on chord changes. That's my weakness at the moment. Some are smooth...others not so much. If you have any good stuff on that show me the way and I'm there...paid or free...either way. Thanks... ~Drew
