@@revsynzac254 either way, it still is different. Rachel is a 30-something (I forget her age here), Dina is a 20-something, she just graduated from college apparently, which means she's broke, likely homeless, or working a shitty job that pays jack shit and not living in a good place to raise a kid. Rachel doesn't have that issue: she has a good paying job, has a place to live (even if it is with Joey), and even has five friends supporting her. Dina apparently had no one, and planned to raise the baby herself, IF I am not mistaken. I can't blame Joey either way. I was raised without a mother OR a father. If my little sister/cousins got pregnant/got someone pregnant, I would make sure that they own up, take responsibility, and raise THAT DAMN KID! Both Joey and Rachel had good points in their arguments. While it is probably better to be married and have a child, people can also make it work by not being married. Joey was being a good big brother and trying to look out for his younger sister who did make a mistake. She was willing to make it work and figure it out on her own. All she needed was the support and love from her friends and family. Once Joey realized that she can handle it as long as he supported her, he knew she was going to be alright in the end.
@mapk1516 Жыл бұрын
Honestly knowing the crisis of fatherless children in America, I'd say Joey is absolutely vindicated here. Rachel taking the opposite stance makes sense cuz of the context of the situation that she was in, but she eventually got back together with Ross, heck even when they weren't together he was very active in raising Emma, so she didn't end up being a single mother after all.

Deena: "Do you ever worry that you'll be walking, and your baby will just, like, slip out?" Rachel: "What college was that, Deena?" LOL I love Joey's sisters!!!

I think this is the first time joey is the smartest guy in the room. Love him to death but it's funny when he's calling out someone else being dumb for once

How perfectly that Bobby guy acted ! Credit to him for this scene.

I just love the way Joey drags Bobby into the apartment. He was out for blood! He probably was willing to take on bullies on the playground for them (well some of them. Others had to probably help him take on bullies)

It's a shame they toned down Joey's intelligence in later seasons and essentially turned him into a Bobby 2.0.
