I’m not sad that it ended. I’m much more disappointed that they had the Joey spinoff set in LA as opposed to a spinoff starring Chandler and Monica as parents set in a suburban neighborhood (with Joey living with them as the stereotypical “weird uncle”) while trying to avoid Janice and Sid, their annoying next-door neighbors. Phoebe and Mike (and maybe even Ross and Rachel) can occasionally appear as guest-stars.

And it turns out that Ross was right - if Monica had done what she wanted here, she would have been a single mother with a child without a real father, or even if she found someone else to raise the child with her afterward, it could all fall apart and get very messed up because the situation like this, is always complicated, that's the truth. By waiting, she bonded with Chandler, got into a great relationship with him, adopted children with him, and didn't have to do this all alone, by herself. It's a way better way, just as Ross said!!
