Im a professional PUA and the only advice that i can give to the first mail guy is keep hanging out and try to meet a lot of people, maintain in really abundance of women until you find another girl, but the important is not been on scarcity believing that she is the only girl that you will find. What if a woman told me that she was just out of a relationship and didn't want engage in something intimate at that point but then complained on another occasion (when I was with an other girl) that she expected me still to go for her somehow...? I mean I just respected her words (like I had another choice) and ignored any the desire and dated 2 other women. Ignorance increases attraction, that is clear now but she actually told me she expected me to still go after even she said no.... That is the most annoying mind game women do. I stayed her friend and had fun with the other girls so it was all just fun and hanging out occasionally (student dorm was more a 16 person community with community kitchen, so running into each other was inevitable). It was all fine, I was fine with the situation but when she told me that I was confused as hell. Basically I told her, it was her fault, if she was clear what she wanted, why didn't she tell me straight forward? You can't excuse everything being just feminine energy, at some point even women - especially successful women - have to start using their rational brain and communicate logically. So, why did she say this to me? Why does this kind of mindgame exist. Could be she was suprised by my direct approach and felt uncomfortable at that point but in the end she told me something totally different to her actions.

You say you had a direct approach, but if you did you would ask *her* why she said it to you and that it doesn't make sense to you. We can't guess at her reasons. Could be a few things and could be a meaningless comment she didn't think you'd take very seriously. Also, for some reason men expect things women say at a young inexperienced dating age to always be what they mean, and always make sense, but reality is that human beings get confused and feel many things at once and are inexperienced communicators. Especially young people in dating situations, omg so many different conflicting feelings and opinions. Add to that that things are constantly changing.
