Why do I feel Sheen and Ali are a good match. Sheen gets him so well. It’s like they compliment each other. Ali is one productivity robot and Sheen in the other hand is a fully emotional empathetic human being. What a good match. Yet they have a deep conversation and match each other’s minds so well. She bowls him off and makes him come to terms with his human self other than that me mechanical himself. And those cute smiles they give each other. And how Sheen tells he is mean and all and yet she knows him in and out. She is so right about him being logical about life and things.

When I was watching this video, I feel that I can relate Ali so much. One of my friend might be a more logical person than Ali. Given that he looks and handles things in a logical way, his nature makes him a good data scientist. However, in a relationship, one can feel suffered when he or she couldn’t communicate with another. If you have different arguments from another, they usually cannot be convinced until they see the evidence or they verify in their own ways several times and get their conclusion. There is nothing wrong to be a logical person, but they need to find someone who can stand their rigidity, just like empathetic person needs to find someone who stand their emotional flow. I think a logical person getting together with an empathetic person can also be a good match. One runs everything in an organize and efficient way while another helps you think beyond things, such as people involved in the matter and the way to communicate with a better and harmless way. I am more of an empathetic person, and somehow I admire those logical people can always stay calm and handle things as they planned.

Its not only with Ali. But with most men who haven't had much exposure to female friendships. They tend to be more emotionless or shy of expressing openly. Almighty has created both male and female with their uniqueness. Expecting both rationality and emotions equally from a male/female is pointless. Females generally are more emotional whereas male more rational. Respecting the differences rather than questioning it helps you live a happy life with fine balance.

Their dynamic is super weird. Sheen is really desperate for Ali to show that he cares and Ali is behaving in a rather cold (yet helpful) manner towards her. I think the problem is that Sheen is into Ali and Ali is not into her (mind you Ali is obsessed with looks, he even admitted as much before). What Ali needs to learn is that he doesn't have to be mean/non-chalant towards someone to non-verbally explain to them that he's not interested. It's not an easy thing to navigate and it requires a level of emotional maturity.
