Wunmi, I know it’s hard because I struggle with it too but please Learn to let people complete their thoughts. It’s especially important in a conversation like this.

I can only imagine how difficult Wunmi’s jealousy would have been for Rebecca to navigate through. It’s so horrible when you’re doing well and you can feel a shift in your friend towards you, don’t want to celebrate you and act as though they can’t see how well you’re doing. That can cause scarring for life! But it was good to see Wunmi own up to that as many women just don’t want to admit things like that and will just gaslight you into thinking nothing is wrong. I commend them for coming back together though. The conversation was a breathe of fresh air ❤

I think I understand Rebecca... It's like always being the chill friend, so when you need your friends to support you and stand up for you, nobody comes through because they're too used to you just doing you and not needing much from no one. I think our personalities are similar... we just distance ourselves if we think someone is not at our level of values in friendship. If that's the case, I definitely relate to her...

Can I say this, as a typically chill person, it doesn’t make me morally superior to a talker. It’s typical for me to suppress my feelings, be non reactive but also we typically may not express our needs clearly expecting for others to read our minds. We aren’t superior to more expressive people who will tend to seek out their friends thoughts and sound the alarm and sometimes ring the alarm. Also can I say, if you aren’t vigilant, a lot of your personal stuff can be triggered when watching such a conversation. Be sure to be self reflective and maintain some curiosity when watching these two beautiful and talented young people. Both creative both successful in their own right. ❤ much love.

It would be a healthy outcome if Rebecca actually had more space to express her true feelings, it looks like there's still a lot of holding back and unresolved issues/tension. There's no true healing if there's no honesty, and accountability. Wunmi, please learn to listen more not project what you are hearing but reflect and let it sink in. Your personality, perspective on things comes off overbearing, and draining. I had to learn that about myself, be considerate to others because I can be quite brutally honest, and strongly opinionated.

This truly shows how organic introvert and extrovert friendships can be too and I identify with both of yall - I really respect the honesty and going through the phases of both age development/timelines too. The last part where you sang a bit of your song was SO cute - I literally felt the nostalgia! Rooting for you both 💗💗💗

I wish there was a meditator. I agree with Wunmi I think that it is hard for women to have hard conversations like this because we don't want to be mean but there's an expectation on us to be "morally" correct even in things that we cant control like emotions or thoughts. And we are all human and have bad thoughts or do things out of impulse. I'm happy you discussed this. However, because it is Wunmi's show and she's the host, I felt like she kind of led a bit too much. It felt as though she narrated her side as fact rather than offering Rebecca the benefit of the doubt. But I get when talking about your side, I get that it would feel as though it is fact. I wish there was less interruption and only say what you felt happened after the other person's finished their point. But i guess this is a real convo and in real life, we all interrupt each other lol. I think an outsider or someone you both feel is neutral and have a relationship with (if you prefer), would have allowed us to get a fairer insight into both sides without one comprising for the sake of peace. All in all, good show and talk !

How I wish I could have such a sit down with my ex-bestie and just talk things out. Till this day my heart aches when I think I've lost my soulmate, after her friendships have never been anything that can match ours, the balance the fun, the craziness all of it from just one person. One say some day I do pray we'll also have such and organic conversation. I so relate to both your personalities and experiences only female friendsships have such vibes 🤭beautiful episode.

Love how Rebecca doesn't cut her off and takes her time before speaking because she does not want to say something she will regret later. A very intelligent woman. It was nice hearing a little bit of both perspectives. I do believe they each had different needs in their friendships that the other one could not fulfill. A lot of us have to remember that nobody is a mind reader, if you want your friend to be there for you you need to let them know clearly. Most of the arguments that happen even in marriages are caused by one or the other expecting their partner to be a mind reader. at least if you voice your need and that person is not able to be present then you can make a decision. Let's be realistic.

My constructive feedback after watching this, 😂😂. I see the love you two have for each. However, you both need to listen to each other more. Wunmi you need to listen more and before you brush over any feelings becca express in a conversation, asked your friend this question "are we getting mad over feelins together?, how do you feel about this? how do we need me to be there for you?. And becca you need to speak up more when you need your friend. It's show that you are always ready to listen and give good advice to your friends.but when it comes to your own situation, you don't talk much and expect your friend to get you even without saying much, and you are always afraid to be misunderstood when you express your feelings.. love the place you both are right now ❤️❤️. Talk to each instead of the middle friend "tummy"

Rebecca comes across so grown and a genuine nice person. As a male and first time watching with bias I think Wunmi still needs healing and growth and she seems like the problem and needed this for her own self gratification. Miss R just over it and that’s ok but she knows in her heart that she has been somewhat pour. Wunmi needs to explore who she is and just humble herself a tad.

Both have difficult parents. People like to overthink things but you can see both have struggled with their parents and it always fucks the person up. My parents are difficult and it just does wierd things to your friendships. People that are "ambitious" when young are really just people who need to get money quick because their parents are controlling and won't let them do anything. You have to get a career and good money to be able to live freely, but to get that career you have to give up the friendships so your lonely. Parents can be terrible.

Rebecca seems passive and is resentful because of it. Wunmi is or was jealous of her friend’s past successes and privileges. And may have minimised her friends needs. They both need to be honest, and admit to their emotions. “I was angry” “ I was annoyed” “I was jealous” just be honest…to many instances where they were circumventing their true emotions. It appears Wunmi probably couldn’t completely open up to her bestie because of the pedestal she put Rebecca on and self esteem issues. I may be wrong with this point but this what I perceive so far based on what they have presented.
