It is extremely rude to charge people for a wedding. That’s like throwing a party and charging your friends for entry. When you have a wedding, you are inviting people to celebrate YOUR union. We are going out of our way to witness YOUR union. Respectfully, we are doing you a favor. So to require us to extend payment for a courtesy is OC. Love y’all btw ❤

To answer the dilemma, I would say that the friend should definitely make a space for her where she can breath. Especially, I think doing meditation with her , journaling or do some active to release the sadness and the stress she could be feeling. Also pray for her, but if her friend decide to share her marriage issues, I'm a blunt person, but please be honest with her straight up if she ended up sharing and she's asking for help. Be honest and tell her truth, now if she choose to stay in that toxic marriage. I wouldn't say anymore else, and you have a choice to still be there for her. But if the problem start to arise again, keep holding her accountable. But straight up, I think she should divorce so that's bastard can receive his karma peacefully.
