The beautiful thing about the potion scene as Stark's gift is that Frieren wants, basically, to give a memory of Flamme of her to Stark. That potion is the same one we see in the third episode, bought (because of the memory of her teacher) long before Frieren learned about Stark from Eisen.

The way the show takes us on a ride of emotions in such a few seconds, a flashback with friends, then melancholy, poignant, and then hit us with that easy segue to laugh at Starke's hand motions Truly, the world is better with Frieren, a generational gem, destined to be remembered for a long time

I think about this whenever I see the scene where Stark wants to tell Fern about the boob clouds. When I was a much younger man, I worked at a convenience store. I lived with my girlfriend, but the living arrangements were more out of necessity and survival. We hadn't been dating long when we moved in together, and we were still unsure about each other. The work was erratic, but a lot always happened. Interesting people, strange events - that sort of thing. Months passed like this, and I have this distinct memory of interesting things happening at work one day, and thinking to myself "man, I can't wait to tell my girlfriend about this!" I couldn't go ten minutes without thinking "Man! This story will make her laugh!" or she'll find it interesting. After the third time that happened that day, was when I realized that I kept thinking about her. Realizing that I was in love with her. March will be our 10 year anniversary. It hit me very hard, and felt very genuine the way that Stark was like "I'll have to tell Fern about them later!". He doesn't realize it yet, but...

Another great episode. Frieren having that dream and looking at her friends when they were alive and probably realizing how much she misses them. It's a beautiful shot. I like how Frieren is still training Stark when he got pinned by the Lord of the Mountain. "Stark, I know you can still move" when she's being attacked by the Lord, just to remind Stark to get up and do his job and protect the other party members. Great flashback with his brother who was an awesome guy. RIP. Easter Egg in this episode. The smirk face that Frieren makes is the same one that Anna in Spy X FAmily makes. The animators threw that in there because their voice actresses are the same person, Atsumi Tanezaki.

What a beautiful episode from start to finish, the music, the flashbacks, Stark’s character development. It’s crazy how Stark got more development in half an episode than Zenitsu got over seasons of Demon Slayer lol

In regards to calling stark a perv, you have to keep in mind she jumps to calling a lot of people perv's at even the briefest suggestion that something is even remotely "sexual" about it. She calls Kraft a perv when all he is, is alone in a cabin with no shirt on after all. And it's not like he'd be expecting anyone to walk in on him out there in the middle of nowhere to try that angle. She just kind of jumps to assuming the worst

Nah. Fern is projecting. She feels a bit pervy when seeing Kraft's body as he is working out, or when Stark is manly and helpful and calls out the target of her pervy feels for making her feel pervy every time. If you've ever dated someone who says "I'm an empath," you know the drill.

don't be sorry! i was going to continue reactions of torchwood after watching season 2 on my own, but to be honest it really just wasn't the show for me and i try to keep my reactions/content as genuine as possible to what i enjoy, so i am no longer going to react to torchwood

@emme Fair enough. It seems that most reactors would rather stick to Doctor Who anyway than watch Torchwood alongside. Never mind following the original airing schedule of in-between Doctor Who series'. It's just that I've only watched it once, so even though there's not many episodes to remember, I need to watch it vicariously through a reactors eyes.

Frieren isn't tired from mana suppression. Firstly, she said in ep10 that she is getting used to it just after 3 year, that was 1000 years ago. Then she said while "battling" with Aura that suppressing mana became natural for her. She had plenty of time to get used to it. Secondly, Fern is the embodiment of not being tired or sleepy and she does it too. Thirdly, Flamme did it too, she wasn't looking/acting tired niether. That's just how Frieren is.
