It's kind of sad that the ending portrays all the stages of the relationship between Fern and Frieren, Lil Fern, Present Fern, and lastly, we saw a grave that I think represents Fern's passing

I just realised that "hnmm mmm" cute sound Frieren ususlly does when she's being mischievous, she also does the same when she voices Anya. Must be a tic of the actress. I love it.

I mean... he basically one-shotted a dragon, and literally knocked it out of the sky in an essentially aerial fight. Seems like he would know thats a fairly impressive feat of strength (even if the impact might have helped)

The main difference between the 1st ending song and the new ending song is that the 1st started saying "Are you alright, do you see me" and the new ending song starts saying "I am alright, and I see you".

it´s the second verse of the same song, before we had the first verse. Only the ending "I´m whispering our lullaby..." is the same in both.

The part you cut out where Frieren holds Ferns hand for a second time and says she knows shes not a child but does it anyway, is one of the most sweetest and heartwarming scenes in the show. It's a testament to how much she cares about Fern basically like a daughter.

The flower in the ending is Blue-Moon weed. The flower that blooms in Himmel's hometown which Frieren & Fern looked for in episode 2.

The prevailing theory is thats Fern's grave. Frieren always likes sleeping on Fern's lap and when Fern's gone she lies on her grave to reminisce those times.

I have never heard anyone claim that (and certainly nobody that has any credibility) and absolutely nothing from any of the source material or author indicate that is the case. Literally, nothing. The worst part of any fandom is you obnoxious cunts that peddle off your headcanon and fanfics as any form of truth.

17:53 It is a different arrangement of the same song, so the same general flow & the same lyrics, but parts of the rhythm, dynamics, and instrumentation have changed vs. the first ending theme. Good on Dani for picking up on it though.

Sein very much being our proxy in this show! "Just start dating already!!!!" IT's the same song but I think from a bit further in the song. It's more uptempo and positive.

as much i would love Sein to stay with them i feel like for the narrative perspective he sorta had to. him being an adult and having more matured outlook on things made everything easier in terms of relationship between Stark and Fern, earlier he helped mediating between Fern and Stark when it was her birthday, and now with this (and possible with other minor things we werent shown in the show throughout their journey). Sein was sort of this helping push that sped up their growth for them, but it isnt necessary the best for them to be "force" into their character growth; they need to develop as people on their own and figure out themselves with their own pace, i think. whoa ok im rambling, anyways- love your reactions! and i already miss Sein :

It's the same song. The first ED was the first verse, chorus, and end ("I'm whispering our lullaby for you to come back home."); the second ED is the second verse, the bridge. chorus and end.

It’s crazy how Stark can slice through a dragon with a swing of his axe, or carry a boulder five times his size, only to perfectly milk a cow without ripping its udders off.

I agree fully Miss Sam, I too, love how this series puts emphasis on Fern and Frieren’s relationship. It’s very sisterly and I love watching them both help each other improve and grow.
