For that we had to put the horses inside. Otherwise this would not work. It is now time to take the horses out again.

Agreed. I have been watching Uniek from the viewpoint of Yvonne's camera from atop Reintje. As well-trained as Reintje us, she's still quite bouncy compared with Uniek. Having back problems myself, I can see and understand why Rein likes to ride Uniek. She's kind of the Rolls Royce of horses. 😁🐎♥

It has taken me MONTHS, but I'm finally noticing slight differences between the horse's head shapes and bone structures. Woo-hoo! There may be hope for me yet! In the back of my mind, I can still hear Rein saying to Yvonne, something like, "We have a filly and she has a beautiful head!". I wish I remembered which video & filly it was, but I don't. At the time, I was new, and I didn't know that "heads" were part of the body scoring at Inspection. I'm happy that I finally understand, and that like the Jury, I can also see the tiny differences. 😁

How do all of the younger horses figure out that Uniek is the Lead Mare? It doesn't seem like she'd have to prove herself to everyone of them especially since the older mares seem to understand and accept that Uniek's position isn't going to change!! Uniek's such a happy, spirited mare! I love watching her mane and tail flowing in the wind as she runs!! Yvonne - you can tell how much Uniek loves you!!She's always happy with you!!

Looks like the teenagers were pleased to get back out in their big field again - grass, grass and even more grass 😂😂😂! I loved their reflections on the canal water 😍😍😍. What IS the magic that attracts us to the herd? There's beauty in the dam & foal relationship, nobility in the lone horse, compatibility between the horse & rider, friendship in the weanling cohort, majesty in challenges between colts ... But the herd has a mysterious magnetism ... between them & on us too

Heather P Yes she was this is Uniek’s 6th foal in 3 years along with Eefje she had 3 other fillies Tialda,Marikje(named after Yvonne’s sister)unfortunately she got sick and passed away as a yearling,and Hana. Her only son Julius fan e Goengamieden is now called Vilmar and lives with the Dutch Royal Family Princess Beatrix of Orange the former Queen,very fitting for the son of Royalty I think. Yvonne and Uniek were pregnant at the same time and had their babies close together Yvonne with her little boy Rein and Uniek with Eefje of course then this past year Yvonne & Reintje were pregnant together and had their Teije/Minze Teije only a week apart.
