My dream would be to live in a house next to a paddock where the neighbour's horses graze. I don't think I could afford to keep a horse of my own, although I would love to. Greg I commend your gift to Yvonne with new shoes. I also agree that Yvonne and team have excellent English. Yvonne you may or may not be know there are areas in the states where the English is very difficult to understand like Boston, New York and in the deep south like Mississippi and Alabama. I can not understand a word they are saying in their verses of English. You are doing great !!

The geographical regions really require lip-reading to understand some folks, because there are so many dialects of "English" nowadays. And New York City, whoop de doo! I was really lip-reading there ~~ kinda of a brogue like Cockney English which is wonderful, too, but you have to get your brain attuned to that vibration. :-D Please nobody think I am not culturally sensitive; I am, and other dialects compel me to be even more of an active listener. Yvonne was perfect, but the Europeans can toss out 3-4 languages without a problem. Did you see Hennie Floor, jumping right in and translating and then Linda? Their brains actually think in different languages and don't have to "translate" from their Mother Tongues to English. My mom and auntie would do Russian and English simultaneously. Amazing! My Brit dad just smiled and went on to mucking the stalls. Hennie, your "Latin" background has really made absorbing all the subscriber input easy to comprehend ~~ and you and Linda multi-task, at the same time.

The entire staff experience was EXCELLENT and so enjoyable and must confess that as a 78 yr. old retired nurse in the us, watching your channel daily for past 2 yrs. has been a blessed therapy for me…. I practice mindfulness and eat organics, drink purified, get 8 hours sleep, take some herbal supplements and laugh a lot. According to Schopenhauer, life is impossible and absurd, but this philosopher threw the best parties in Europe, always celebrating the sanctity of life (germane to your profession). He was the optimistic pessimist. He was a student of life; and you learn so much from these YT uploads and then can replay them to really soak in the nobility of the Friesian lineage. Maybe, Trish, we were all Friesians in a previous incarnation. All I know is that as soon as I see the "Hippy Horses" sauntering out of the barn, I just marvel, out loud, too. What a massive, powerful conformation! And Senna the Ridgeback is Gea's dog. Have you seen her do the "Friesian Shiatsu" on her sr. puppy. The talent of the FS team is surround-sound wholesomeness. That's what you miss vis-à-vis the corruption we experienced the past few years. A shout out to all the medical professionals and Wildfire Firefighters Foundation in Idaho who offer their own lives to save the rest of us, especially the horses who run around confused and scared to death. Saw the recording missed the live thanks so much loved what we saw and it was nice to meet the others there at the stable love the kitten looking forward to seeing what it gets up to. So glad that Rein is going to continue to breed Friesian horses. The very first video I watched was the one with yourself Yvonne and Uniek bringing the young horses to another field and I have watched ever since. Although I haven't got a horse of my own I have spent times working at stables and learning about horses I miss doing this now. Thankfully you allow me to love your horses and watch you training and loving these beautiful graceful horses it fills my heart with such joy.

​@@janetmajor1152 Natural habitat! says it all. Have seen plenty of horse farms and barns, but Yvonne provides the ambiance of excitement in her profession. She wondered out loud why people who don't know horses would watch her channel. Well, she the camaraderie of trust and communication she creates with her Friesians she translates into her relationships with subscribers, staff, MODs and grandly brought Rein to life for us ~~ called the "halo effect" in psychology. Yvonne, you are our therapist. Thank you, Rein and Yvonne and FS, for your "launch" into livestreaming and connection with connoisseurs and non-connoisseurs alike :-D I'm somewhere in the middle but am learning so much and leaning now to connoisseur status.

"In person" is the ultimate experience. Notice how Yvonne is always the same ~~ centered and balanced. She is our role model and the energy of her portal is augmenting so exponentially, I watch in elation but not surprise. Always say she knows what she is doing and knows how stuff works, just like my dad, who's over the rainbow bridge and smiling at the awesome Friesians' family of equines and "in-between" equines, lol! If Yvonne let's her hair grow any longer, she will be sporting the Friesian mane. Humans start looking like their pets and animals ~~ the expressions, gestures, and how they look out of their eyes. :-D

​@@janetmajor1152 One would notice that statement because Yvonne is so patient in teaching the non-connoisseurs so much in horse training. The equestrian experts get the same instruction as you and I get. But they don't "yawn"; they do offer contrary opinions and I learn from that, too. Yvonne was the first one to caption the term, "connoisseurs." I piggybacked on that to identify my own learning status of "non-connoisseur" because I ask so many, (what could be thought of as) annoying "kid" questions. Linda put up with my ?s and I think felt glad to share her expertise, as did Hennie Floor. You can see how patient Yvonne is with her own children, explaining stuff step-by-step. Due to that, my own status is upgrading from "non-connoisseur," whoop de doo, to "something else, lol. All in all, I think she is somewhat amazed at her international "ster" status and was just humbly expressing that amazement (of her stardom that is due to the non-connoisseurs' views); she did this in her English-as-a-third or even fourth language. Her English is becoming more complex as she immediately speaks in English without the middle process of searching in her brain computer for the translation. When I speak Spanish, lol!, aye carumba! I know my eyes go left when searching for the right conjugation or nuance. But people do understand some of what I say as I have good finger-pointing skills; my reading in Spanish is much better as the root words are Latin. Think I'll just keep my head bowed under the midnight lamp, as I read to myself, those lip-readers going a mile a minute. How are your own lip readers :-D

Thank you so much for the Q&A. I’ve fallen in love with all the horses. I didn’t have a good experience with a horse when I was young. He bullied me, stepped on me, brushed me off on low branches in the pasture and the last time I rode him he took off at a gallop around the house and brushed me off at the clothesline by my neck. I went end over teakettle. I didn’t have the confidence and he took full advantage.

Such a great video. It also brings to this old nurses mind the fact that Yvonne is so fluent in English, Dutch, and Friese will also be a HUGE factor in her favor regarding her accident- she already has lots of extra pathways in her brain that people who only speak one language (like me😜) don’t have. I missed the live chat. I live in Texas in USA. It was 7:00 am here when you started the live chat. I was walking my precious dog. When I got back and fed everyone, your chat was over. I did see the replay. OMG, what beautiful women y’all are! And I was so awed by the fact that it is an all women operation! With the exception of Rein! Just marvelous to see so many women involved with the Friesian horses. I have always loved horses. I could ride pretty good, but now too old. (70 yrs old). I also fell off a bit! It hurt my butt! I'm so sorry that I missed seeing this live but it was so fun to be able to watch it thank you so much for posting it! I am one of those who really doesn't know a lot about horses and have learned so much from you and I had the chance to see a couple of pasture horses recently and I felt so drawn to meet them because of this channel! Hello Pake Jeffje. Remember me, we discussed Geo and herd dynamics few weeks ago. lol I was so happy that Yvonne finally talked about Gea and the inspection. So she needs another year to grow and put on weight. Now I have to be patient about hearing how Ginny does. Did I miss news about Hester? Did they AI her this season? I hope Yvonne plans another Q & A soon. Loved it.

@@marya4861 Yes, Gea can grow. We will have to wait and see what happens. I suspected there was an issue with Gea. 🤞 for Ginny. Also, I know they had inseminated Hester. We do not know...but Yvonne knows. She wants to do a video with surprises on who will be in foal next year. I speculate Hester is indeed in foal, but anyone reading this...This is my SPECULATION ONLY, we have no information that confirms this.
