June 9th of last year my daughter lost her baby. Almost a year later and I'm crying for Uneik and the beautiful way she looked when you bought in the little orphan baby. It seemed like she was saying " ohhh a baby!!! Come here, come here!!" It was the sweetest thing ever!.

I KNOW!!! THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING! The way she stepped and pranced and danced around and the way she called out to the foal was as if she was saying, "Is that a FOAL!? IT MUST BE MINE! Oh, that poor sorry thing! You must be hungry little one! You need some help! Here, here, now come, I shall feed you and show you how to horse! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL you little one! Yvonne! [Uniek literally raises her left front hoof high and points it to the ground directly in front of her] Put the foal here! I want to see it! Now! There there, hello, my little one! I love you!"

Uniek has taken us on a journey to another level this week...the way that she 'opened her heart' to Rising star yesterday❤ after her own grief of losing Star....going against a horses' natural instinct to reject a strange foal was for me, like watching a miracle happen before my very eyes 🤩💫 the way she danced was truly magical 🌟🌟 Watching today's video felt different because my admiration of her has increased beyond words... one very special mare 😇 You are so right Greg...one in a millennium 🌠 🌠 🌠

@@greghammer4000 Yes and Uniek is very special to him also, always his choice of ride, even now, when she belongs to Yvonne, yes you could feel his sadness also on that fateful morning. Rein is a farmer and they view the loss of livestock in a different way, kinda the same as an E.R professional has to I suppose , its their business and when you breed for a living you expect to lose some, no business is exempt from some failures , The joy was clear to see and hear in his voice when Uniek accepted Rising Star❤ even though we don't understand his tongue, it was a pleasure to watch all the humans beaming with joy 😁

After this tragedy for Uniek i don't know whether to call it miracle or providence the arrival of this little one who has lost his mother, UNIEK has proved to be a real mother by accepting this little one in her (harms) I am very happy for UNIEK and little one both of them have a second chance to be happy In this little one i see the soul of Star 🐴🐎❤️

I remember that this was when Uniek was still pregnant and seeing Star moving in her belly is sad. I am glad she has bonded with her beautiful little adopted colt. In all the spa day videos, I always feel like when she paws the ground with her hoof she is saying , “Alright already Yvonne, finish up I want to go lie down. Gotta get off these hooves before they start swelling! Ooof, my back is aching and I need some sweet green grass to munch on as I rest. It’s no trot in the park being pregnant!” I love our beautiful Queen!

Hendrik is a beautiful polite young stallion and certainly knows how to treat the ladies. If I was about breeding Friesian horses, I was DEFINITELY buy him and have him in my stable! Uniek is gorgeous!

Should add in "when brushing the mane or tail, start at the bottom so you don't rip the hair out or make it frizzy, especially if the horse has a curly mane and tail."

That is exactly how my mother taught me to brush my hair, as it is very thick and naturally wavy. Good advice, it's how I brushed my own horses' tails so they don't get damaged hair. My 6 yr. old granddaughter also has quite thick hair, so my daughter-in-law teaches her the same thing! Smart thing to do.

She such a Beautiful horse....I grew up in the city and down the bottom of our street was a city farm that was also a community centre and canal for the kids in the area every summer holidays we would all end up at the centre and play games get too ride the horses an help with mucking out of the stables we would also wash the horses and groom them it was the best time of our lives till the government closed it down an turned the building into flats for all the rich snobs and now we have very high crime in the area lots of murders as the younger people have nothing to do...i am in my 40 now an miss those days of community....my mom still lives on the same street till this day Birmingham has gone downhill now...💯☮️💯🙏🏾🧿from🇯🇲🇬🇧
