@@WarrenEdwardesTangoDJ Geertje and Reintje are mostly in separate herds because Geertje has not yet started having foals. When she joins the older horses who already foal, she will find her new place in the hierarchy. Frieda is over Geertje in the younger herd, but now that Frieda foals and will more likely move more permanently with the older mares, I think Geertje will take the lead with the younger ones until she starts to foal. At that time she will move away from the younger herd to the older herd. That won't be until at least next year because she is not in foal this year. We will have to see what happens then. At some point, Uniek will gradually and willingly step down as leader and allow a younger and stronger mare to take over. That is how it happens in nature and how the herd continues to survive. That new leader could be Rinetje, but a younger mare may say differently and try to take over. Every time the herd changes, the dynamics may also change. Geertje has shown us her desire to rise in the ranks with the younger herd. We will have to wait and see what happens next year, but I think Geertje may still have to go through Frieda first before challenging Reintje because Frieda has already bested her.

Love the children's play area, especially the trampoline. It looks very safe. The ponies are sweet and you could certainly tell that Daisy looked pregnant. Am enjoying the videos, many of whom I hadn't had time to watch and seeing the old ones I enjoyed the most.

I loved seeing the ladies interacting, grooming each other, no competition. Glendy & Daisy look like tomboys with their hair all messed up. The cutest lawnmowers I've ever seen. Your boys are so full of energy, playing on the trampoline & swing. I think Sissy was afraid of the pony the way she ran low to the ground, close to the wall & kept looking at the pony.

🐎🌿 The horses look with question by their facial expressions to how much longer will it be til they can graze out in the meadow. 🌄 Even though the ladies were bored with being in the outdoor arena, they put their focus on getting attention from those around them, including from Yvonne. The ponies look happy to graze & explore somewhere new at your place.🐴 Daisy is looking more pregnant in this video. How exciting for you/Yvonne & your family to be there for Daisy when her foal is born. Not knowing who the Sire is of Daisy's foal should be interesting to wonder what color the foal will be after being born. The above ground (movable) ones are the norm here as well. I've never seen one in the ground outside of a public playground. I like these better as well, though!

You must be an animal whisperer, or have been blessed by St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. They must sense that you are a good, animal loving person. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
