What a big smile on a grown man's face. Such joy, I love it! I know mares are always protective of their foals but Reintje is so very attentive. Until they are grown of course, then daughters like Yfke see her mother bear angry face! I can tell you though that I could watch the sweetest relationship between Risey and Yfke all day. They are precious together ❤️

She seems to be given low rank by the other mares and somewhat outcast-Yvonne tried her with Skittel, Bibi, Puck and Shiney but they kind of bullied her. Risey loves her. Maybe she’ll become a model mare and then she can swish her tail at all of them-lol!

I had high hopes for Yfke and Bebe's friendship but it seems like that couldn't work out because Bebe was still close to the other blondies who didn't really accept Yfke. I'm so glad she's with Risey now, they have such a beautiful bond. I hope she still gets to spend time with Bebe, too. It must be tricky for Yvonne to manage all of the horses' social dynamics!

Gosh, Saly looks elegant just walking to the field. She’s a sweetheart because poor Yfke was bullied by mean girl Coralle AGAIN, and even her own mother. Poor girl can’t catch a break. Coralle is usually so brave. She just needed her herd leader (you) to show her the puddle wouldn't eat her up. Guess there was something making a noise or a flitting motion that made Coralle nervous. Hmmm. Do we have 2 adorably playful fillies who might also be plotting mischief? For being so young, Baukje certainly has a lot to say! Ha! I wonder if she will keep that trait as she matures. I think it is more for the sake of the ground than it is for the horses, especially since they had so much rain earlier this year. The ground had a rough wet spell. 🧡🧡

Coralle and Saly don't care for the puddle. Reintje stands so proud with her ears erect. She's so proud of her foal, Baukje. Those little fillies are growing so fast. Soon, they'll be as big as Yfke. I think Belle may get as tall as Uniek!
