The "DBZ Budokai 4" mod Project is a fan-made modification of the original "DBZ Infinite World" on PS2, running on PCSX2 emulator.
It features new gameplay, fixed fatigue system, new Comeback System, new costumes, new characters, new stages, new transformations, new capsules, new moves, new movepools, new inputs, new Specials, new RTFs, removed "Aura Burning" and many other Quality-of-Life features and improvements.
This Project was born from the collaboration between NIM and Dr. Doppietta, with the partecipation of other modders like SamuelDoesStuff, MetalFrieza3000, Gibz and ASTR47 / Trevon1344.
All credits to them.
About this match-up: Goku had "Tenacity" in both matches, while battle damage has been simulated using editing. We plan to try implementing it, at some point.

​@@meliante-this and BT4 are neck and neck IMO. What BT4 has in sheer content, B4 makes up in balancing, mechanical additions, and competitive focus.

@@meliante- BT4 is just BT3 with reskinned costumes & characters. Even worse, game's mechanics have been tweaked for the worst: now melee damage is pitiful, while special Blasts deal an absurd amount of damage. Movement has been impaired and meta is basically mashing Square and spamming Blasts. BT4 should knock at our door only to learn how to properly balance a videogame. The fact that they have 287576238958 Gokus in different colors means nothing if they all play exactly the same, unlike in B4, where each Goku (DB, Z, GT) plays very differently from the others.

Absolutely amazing work tho i think replacing the death beam and replacing with Frieza's "you must die by my hand" beam would be better for Frieza's buff form as i believe it would add variety to the character

We thought about it, but there have been some technical issues with that. I hope we'll be able to port those moves later down the line, for now Frieza is done and fully playable.

Gogeta has been modded and then left aside, only to be reworked quite recently. He will be playable in B4 v0.6 Demo, but that won't be his final iteration.

Dragon Ball is 90/95% Hand to Hand & This is by Far The Best at it. The Only Games That Comes Close Are Shin Budokai 2, Burst Limit & 3d Wise It's Xenoverse 2 Surprisingly. Its Been How Many Years & They Still Can't Get Hant to Hand Combat Right. Sparking Zero Looks Like Shit & Despite Complimenting Xenoverse, Its Just The Only Characters Worth Fighing With/Watching to Get That Dragon Ball Feel is Any of The Goku's. Please Keep Going With The Mods
