Great vid bro. I spent many a night in those hills and been all over Harriman/bear mountain in my 20's. You should go to the Adirondacks, that's where you'll find true wilderness. God bless

My friends and I used to do overnight camping ages ago in this park during the fall months. We used to park in the Lake Tiorati Circle Parking lot. There were no issues in doing do. Is it still the same? Where are you parking your car in the park?

Yes. Love Harriman. May not be the most majestic of mountains in comparison with "The Rockies" how ever it is still easy to loose yourself in the vastness and get home in time for supper.

Did you cook in your campsite or away ?

Thanks Gustavo for viewing my channel. I generally like to cook away from my tent. Don't want to have my tent smelling like barbeque. May attract some unwanted guest...

ML Smith. Thank you for taking the time to view my channel brother. On this particular hike I believe it was 5 to 6 miles. Great hike. Little technical some parts with few scrambling points.
