The Fright night films are two of my favorites of all time. But,one of the reasons I love them are because jerry dandridge was not tom cruise or brad Pitt or Christian bale. He wasnt pretty. He wasn't attractive to everyone. He was charming and witty. It added so much to his character. Regine was the same. I think she was beautiful. But,not by basic movie standards like Scarlett Johansson and the like. A unique beauty that relies on character more than looks. Kind of like Michael Keaton in Batman. Yes he's an attractive man. But he was no pretty boy. He got by on character and that he was a rich man. I gravitate towards those so much more.
