“Frightened Rabbit's is a terrific version of the song, and Scott's vocal is full of emotion and truth. I can see the wee boy he once was in his face as he sings. Travel on well, son, you were beautiful.” Mike Scott

Lorrico14 such beautiful words, every time I listen to this I always read this comment, you can see the wee boy when he sings! You are truly missed Scott! Your words and way of performing makes me feel something like I'm not alone, there's always hope. I hope you have found the peace you were looking for!

A wonderful version of an amazing song; I'm so sorry I forgot how much I loved it when it was an original but listening to it, and the covers, I want to learn to play the guitar just so I can play this song competently. This version is one of the covers that drives me to want to sing my version of these beautiful lyrics. Thank you.

Greetings from California. I just discovered them 3 months ago and have listened to their songs every single day since finding them. I tell everyone I know to listen to them. I was shattered to hear Scott is no longer with us. I wish I could have seen them live, I am grateful to KZbin & all of you for posting their music. I cry at his songs because they are so raw, truthful and tragically beautiful. I love finding new songs from them. This cover is amazing! Thank you for sharing with us.

Six years without Scott. In 2016 I saw him at a gig in Berlin. He apologized for not being able to put on a proper shirt because someone parked their car outside the club and blocked the door of the tour bus. I hug you for that, Scott. Rest in peace.

Heartbreak feels like Frightened Rabbit...it's virtually all I listen to. I'm a 50 year old man still feeling like a heart broken teenager and aching to swim until I can't see land. Goodbye cruel world x
@vasway42103 жыл бұрын
How random this world can be that leads one person to another. Even though I'm finally over the heartbreak of my last relationship, I can still feel the pain listening to Frightened Rabbit. Their music touches me more deeply than any band has before. I'm sorry if you're going through a hard time, but please don't give up. It does get better. I went through over 15 years of depression, had suicidal thoughts, took a really dark path in life. Sometimes things would get better, but I'd always end up thinking "it always comes back to this, maybe I should just kill myself" Eventually I knew I needed help & got it. Now I'm happier than I've ever been. Just wanted you to know that someone is always listening & cares. Ill say a prayer for you. You know, Scott's passing still makes me cry. he touched so many people & through that he lives on in us. Please don't give up. Life is precious even when it doesn't seem it.

Honestly Was not a massive follower of frightened rabbit wish I was....glad I found them .... but had a few songs on various playlists ... gutted for Scott's nearest and dearest ... seen a friend of mines family with same scenario, the after the fact action for the family was, is and forever will be a day to day manage, can't blame a soul for letting go, but the turmoil they feel doesn't end with them ... it's carried on . Anyone reading .... It gets better x ✌👍👌
