In which circumstances we replace this harness assembly sensor?

Hi.. what was your freezer doing that made you replace that part? We have the same freezer and it's working intermittently. It beeps every couple days and we notice food not solid. Could it be this harness? When we unplug it and back in it'll go for a day or 2 and then the beeping happens again. Any advice?
