Merry Christmas! I think the Dinosaurs from Jurassic Park that look like frilled lizards are called "compsognathus". I love how you reference pop culture as a major contributor to your love of reptiles. My favorite reptile from the Rescuers Down Under is of course "JOANNA!" Edit: My son says that those little dinosaurs are dilophosaurus, so I guess I'll have to defer to him! Lol 🙂

It was the dilophosaurus that was given a frill, along with rather diminutive size (though you could argue the one that killed Ned was a juvenile).

Interesting take. Army veteran myself, and since i wasnt in the air or on a ship while overseas i actually got to witness pet trade herps while there in their home ranges. It was a highlight among the stupidity of a war torn country. I was lucky to see plated lizards (or a close relative), uromastyx, a large turtle of some kind (side neck like) I helped it cross a highway, small Mediterranean house geckos, and a sand boa of some kind. I actually caught it at night and kept it in a sock so i could take pictures in the daylight. Craziest thing I saw was a large yellow snake that periscoped crossing a road at night. I thought cobra at the time. Many large camel spiders crossing the road and a few hedgehogs along with some frogs/toads during the rainy season. This was NE Iraq near the Iranian border closest town was Baquba if anyone knows the actual species there.

I have a fish suggestion, guaramis! ( tannin tolerant) I had a few blue in my small turtle pond and for some reason, they never ate the guaramis. They grow to a nice size and are very pretty fish. They’re air breathers, which I didn’t know back when I had them. I thought they were just exceptionally friendly and calm fish! And they come in many colors!

Quick thought on the way your lizards freak out a little bit when they go outside. It's not only the possibility of predators from above, a lot of it has to do with the infrared light that you get from the sun and the way they view the world, you look different in natural sunlight to them.

Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
