Also, when pitting characters against each other, it is important to consider which universe's rules apply to the battle. If we apply Undertale's rules, then with all the code-corruption and world manipulation Chara would have near-absolute victory (eventually if not outright) despite overwhelming force of his opponents. However if we apply Touhou's rules, then it's considered a more real-like world where code-corruption is impossible and world manipulation is in the hands of someone else. In this scenario, all Chara would have are infinite retries till bored or till overriding force kicks him out. Both JZ's vids toyed with both of these scenarios well enough.

Same could be applied to the anime superhero, One Punch Man vs the comic superhero, Superman, and the complications that stem from that as well, the whole concept behind One Punch Man is obviously the Main Character defeating ALL enemies in one punch if he really tried, as it is mostly comedy, its hard to really understand what exactly that means for Saitama's (OPM MC) strength. A lot of the commenters on the original video, (Frisk vs Sakuya) seem to really not understand that different universes have different rules, so it's nice to see a comment like this here.

@@bowmin1 , well, One-Punch Man never established what sort of power gives him that kind of strength (not as a joke, the real deal) so pitting anyone against him is ridiculous on a narrative level. But yeah, that's also why I dislike most of those "vs" channels. They rarely think on rulesets, just charcter data (if even that).

This video got SO MANY PEOPLE into touhou. - The two most common ways to get into the fandom are the bad apple-video or this one ^^ Also jzboy has another undertale vs touhou-video, its marisa kirisame vs asriel. (funny thing is, tobys inspiration for asriels moveset was literally 100% marisa. - you can find almost every attack he has in some touhou game.)

There is one reactor that whining Sakuya is cheating in this animation, what he doesnt realize that Frisk has been also cheating the whole time with infinite continues. One funny thing is that most of the spellcards Sakuya use are on Easy mode and Frisk doesnt even try to dodge, showing that how badly newbies are at bullet hell.

Little history of touhou and undertale. Toby fox is a fan of touhou and made undertale while incorporating some touhou moves and attacks in undertale. The fandoms of touhou and undertale have an ongoing but dying fan war that has lasted a bit. It is awfully nuts but it has died. You'll see lots of salt in comments of any undertale and touhou battles, crossovers, parodies, etc... It's gotten better but the war is still ongoing

I'm watching this after a year but if your wondering why chara took so much damage while trying to kill Sakuya It's cause Sakuya realized the reason why her knifes didn't effect chara much, she realized it was the heartlocket that made her defense high so she was smart enough to manage to get it off chara as so chara through her attack but did less damage to Sakuya giving her an opportunity to kill chara off screen i think which caused chara to die

It's good to see I've found a reactor who knows about Touhou characters. :) And while I am okay with some Undertale content out there, the Genocide Route stuff is my least favorite. Ha! Like you said at the beginning about Sayuka being the winner, I second that. I really enjoyed to see Chara to lose! They were already screwed up when entering to the Touhou world and specially when facing one character with the ability to stop time, something that Undertale hasn't. Also, no matter the ammount of damage Chara managed to deal on Sakuya, she was far from being defeated. Touhou bosses has lots of hitpoints (well for the fact they have lots of Spell Card phases) XD

Wooh! Hi again Lano! This was my first Touhou video, so it was pretty nostalgic for me. Only because of this video Sakuya became my waifu for 1,5 years!(now it's Yuuka, but btw). Next my suggestion will be Marisa vs Asriel, but before you will react to that video, please check videos in the description of this video. There you can see what would happened if Frisk decided to reset(also you CAN interact with Continue and Reset buttons, but only on KZbin) and also what would have happened if Chara defeats Sakuya. Also, as I can see you confused how Chara was defeated(don't worry it's pretty hard to understand, because on KZbin there link on the screen(when Chara made her Final move) for half of second with text,, dodje"). In the middle of fight Sakuya cut off locket(Chara's armor) and when Chara attacks Sakuya stops time and then kills Charabut as I said there video in description, where she dodje this attack. This videos very and very short(less then 1 minute each), so I think you can react to them just before Marisa vs Asriel(in same vid), so it's up to you. Well I guess it's all! Hope it'll help! P. S.
