@@ghafirkhan6402 Apparently, the doll that Jayanto had as a child was living? It seems unrealistic that dolls come to life (Toy Story for example). That skeleton was the skeleton of Fritz. And it was normal for Jayanto to be shocked, how would he know that Fritz actually was living?

My view👉🏻The shopkeeper is really suspicious as he said that Fritz well look whenever you call him by his name🤔 Conclusion: shopkeeper was actually a TANTRIK😨 who possessed a new born baby and put it into the cloth doll...thus later dogs were snatching it as the can smell it😱...so it decomposed after 37 yrs

Jayanto murdered a child when he was 6. His father, Animesh Das Gupta was a rich government official so he hid the murder and fled out of Bundi. Page 14 first para last line says " JAYANTO WAS CERTAINLY MORE EMOTIONAL THAN MOST PEOPLE." This suggests that since then his guilt was eating him up. IT IS ALSO MENTIONED IN THE BEGINNING OF THE CHAPTER, THAT THEY FOUND IT TOUGH TO TRAVEL TOGETHER, this was probably because all this time Jayanto was reluctant and afraid. Finally, he made up a story and decided to check on the truth.
