Was amazing rolling with Keenan I lost two of the up down our matches trying to get chance to go with him. Glad I got a chance. I wasn’t full concert that day but once he won double gold at euros I bought into all the lapels. I hated gi jiujitsu for first 3,4 years of my jiujitsu journey. Always had the MMA mindset But now as super well rounded martial artist I enjoy diving into all the “Worm holes “ etc Keenan has created. Keep inspiring Keenan. And I want a rematch now that I’ve put a year into all the lapel studies 😂

Is there ever a time when someone at a gym like this even comes close? I remember training with Rodrigo Gracie at a seminar in Hartford CT. I was able to get to lock down on him and I kind of surprised myself. I couldn't hit any subs or transition to a sweep so I opted to go back to closed guard. He proceeded to pass, transition to mount, grapevine my legs and hugged the back of my head into his chest thereby suffocating me. I was a blue belt at the time and I think he was kinda pissed I was able to work a little rubber guard. So has anyone ever surprised you at all??
