I love these types of videos, that way we can just see lots of rolls with different belts, lots of techniques etc. I really enjoy watching that :)

He kept saying not to just step into someones guard! I have been watching him since he was a brown belt and can easily say that he has made my game better. Thank you so much Keenan, such a class act!

@@sirpibble Failed takedown to guard is treated as if the person that defended the takedown actually got a takedown. I.E. failed double leg to sitting guard would net 2 points to the person that got shot on.

They actually never disconnected so it’s still a sweep attempt…They have to release grips before it becomes a TD attempt…..If we are going by IBJJF rules.

I think more instructors should take after his example of rolling with students after, I can't tell you the amount of instructors I've reached out to have for seminars and basically none of them roll afterwards. I'm not saying you have to go full hour and go to war with anyone and risk getting hurt potentially, but just like what he does rolling 30 seconds to a minute or something like that with each student is pretty priceless for a student's attendance and experience. They should be experienced enough to control the pace of the match, because these students most likely don't or have never rolled a top level competitor, so give them an experience of what it's like to spar with someone who really knows their stuff and probably will motivate them to keep continuing their path to achieve that same thing.

Everyone has positions they're not as familiar with and Keenan seemed open to it so I'd assume that's what happened. Bernardo Faria had a brown belt on BJJ fanatics to teach the Tarikoplata that the brown belt invented

This is what we do at My school for every belt test. They have as many people as they can come in. 1 min with EVERYONE. I’ve seen 100 people grapple 1 guy. My blue belt test was 63 people a minute each. It was brutal but the feeling after was incredible. After that I did No-Gi for 6yrs before going for my purple belt. Lol BJJ brings out your best. Remember this saying-“Exhaustion makes cowards of us all.” So train hard. But also smart. God bless my martial arts brothers and sisters EVERYWHERE 🙏🏻.

This is a bad take. The fact that a world class grappler can exploit a big hole in a person's fundamentals is not much of a dig on that person. Also the fact that you seem to think there aren't holes in the fundamentals of people all the way through black belt makes me think your game is probably full of holes that you can't see.
