I think more instructors should take after his example of rolling with students after, I can't tell you the amount of instructors I've reached out to have for seminars and basically none of them roll afterwards. I'm not saying you have to go full hour and go to war with anyone and risk getting hurt potentially, but just like what he does rolling 30 seconds to a minute or something like that with each student is pretty priceless for a student's attendance and experience. They should be experienced enough to control the pace of the match, because these students most likely don't or have never rolled a top level competitor, so give them an experience of what it's like to spar with someone who really knows their stuff and probably will motivate them to keep continuing their path to achieve that same thing.

This is what we do at My school for every belt test. They have as many people as they can come in. 1 min with EVERYONE. I’ve seen 100 people grapple 1 guy. My blue belt test was 63 people a minute each. It was brutal but the feeling after was incredible. After that I did No-Gi for 6yrs before going for my purple belt. Lol BJJ brings out your best. Remember this saying-“Exhaustion makes cowards of us all.” So train hard. But also smart. God bless my martial arts brothers and sisters EVERYWHERE 🙏🏻.
