I am in 100 per cent agreement. I knew for years that UU was a religion that reflected my values. I studied religion and philosophy at a University where I was actively involved with the Interfaith Center. I passed the UU church everyday on the way to University.I probably passed it 2-3000 times. It takes a lot of guts for someone to walk though the door of your church, yet, we do not invite people or reach out to peole who need the salvific presence of our community.

I have been exploring Christian churches for a few years now and haven’t found a good fit because while I agree with some aspects, there are many that I don’t. I was talking to a friend about my concerns and he suggested that my beliefs more align with UUs than strictly Christianity. In exploring the national website and finding your videos (even though these are years old), I think my friend was right. I will be visiting my local UU church this Sunday.

An exceptional vision of UU thought and practice very well presented. Two other comments: Religious Liberalism is historically religion that emphasizes the immanence of God accessed through the aesthetic, rather than rational or ethical dimensions. Second, don't judge the impact of religion by looking at the western world alone. Christianity alone is doing very well in the southern hemisphere. Thanks for a truly worthwhile message.

Religious baggage is a good answer Truthfully I left the Baptists and Methodist because they sound like Stepfird wife's parroting lines in a play that repeated itself every week and no real discussion about being human

Defination of God is the one who is creator who has created Universe and every thing in it. And first Comandment is I AM YOUR ONLY GOD the creator and worship me alone. From Adam till today, the comandment remains same. when that creator is able to do every thing does not need any one to help in any thing and God is unseen and suffice then there is no need of other unseen holy GHOST. Holy ghost is ARCHANGEL GABRIEL. Jesus peace be upon him was prophet of God and he was human like other prophets and our beloved did miracles by power of GOd and not of his own. Jesus peace by upon him said always in name of God. Our beloved son of beloved mary and worship creator unseen by falling on face.
