did u have any hardware mods like downpipe, midpipe OPF delete and cat back exhaust with this tuning box ? would stage 2 be fine with a totally stock car ?

Eventuri intake, stock downpipe, full titanium catback exhaust from Yashio Factory. Stage 2 was made for this specific hardware set up. If stock, stick with the more conservative map

Hello Franz, the camera picture is realy bad. Nobody can see the different between the standard boost pressure and the D- Tuk boost pressure. Can You tell us what is the Maximum boost pressure with the box? Happy new Year from Germany

Hello! Exciting mods! I'm beginning my mods on my GR now. I have ordered larger intercooler, cold air intake with freer air filter, Setrab oil cooler and high flow catalyzer. For an aftermarket ECU, is it plug and play or do I need to take it to a specialist for tuning it in on a dyno?

you can either go for a plug and play unit like DTUK or you can buy a standalone ECU like Motec or Syvecs

You should be honest and mention that the stated performance can only be achieved with the Eventuri intake and a Milltek 200 cell exhaust system. 2 runs and a subjective feeling can only give a superficial impression. To really know what the box is capable of, you would have to take times and put it to the test. You should also look at the engine log data, to what extent the ignition is turned back, etc.

2 runs in the video, but I actually did a lot of runs unrecorded. :) I also did a track day with the car and even got a friend say his impression about it on the racetrack. That's in one of my other videos too

@@FranzGaw thanks man that’s great :) I think as long as there is a substantial seat of the pants change that’s all that really matters. My car has always had the feeling of heat soak or something similar that it needs more ideal conditions to drive it’s best. It’s been quite frustrating but a Syveccs or Motec ECU are excessively priced :(

With this much gain, will it be dangerous that it may blow your engine or cause damages? There is another company Litchfield, that gives you up to 300hp, may be it is safer as we do not know the long term effect how it may affect the engine.

I think you only start breaking stuff when you go beyond 300hp

@@motto666 you'll only reach 300hp at 6500 rpm and you don't even reach that rpm most of the time you're driving. So if you're worried about engine damage, don't be.

there was a map update on the race box last february 22. If you have the latest update, map3 +1 is the best for me.

@@FranzGaw Yes I got the update. Just asking out of curiosity. I tried though map2 +3 which gave me best performance but also an engine error after couple of minutes. Did you experienced an error on some other settings?

@@martinomartin8422 map2 +3 is known to lean out the engine which is probably why you got an error. Step back to +2 and see if you get the same problem again.
