I started watching your channels a couple months ago and really enjoy seeing all of the toys from my youth. This year I have made it my quest to find any mad ball items at yardsales, no luck so far but i still have a couple months to go. If I had to choose a grail to find it would be the soccer ball from mad balls. I had forgotten how cool these toys are! What’s even cooler is my son has now taken an interest in finding one too.

I went to a toy show when I was working in Australia and found a 15 year old Datsun 510 Hot wheels and it became my holy grail ever since. This jump started my love for toys. Now I live in Canada and I am collecting vintage toys/action figures that I wasn't able to buy when I was young. I became knowledgeable in vintage toys ever since I started watching you. When I was a kid I found a Transformers Metroplex at a Swap-Meet (the Australian version of a carboot sale). They were asking $12 but I only had $8. The seller felt sorry for me and let it go for $8. I was so excited. As I was walking away, they chased after me with a bag of smaller transformers and accesories and told me that 'it goes together'. I was so excited going through all the extra parts when I got home. 12 year old me had the best day ever.

My Holy Grail is definitely an original Lost in Space lunchbox with thermos, something I longed for when I was watching the show as an eight-year old ... and all the years since. Over the years I've seen them but, living in England as I do, you don't see them as much as you would in the States. One day... Your videos are always fun and entertaining, Anthony, but isn't it time for you to have a TV series of your own? Think about it - "Coming up next on NBC! Anthony - The Toy Detective!" That would be cool.

I've never been to a toy show. However, when I was a kid, around 14. I used to help my grandmother and her church friends every year as they ran an annual rummage sale. Basically, it's a church garage sale with items that people donated. I found a bunch of KISS action figures. As well as some WWF attitude era figures. I can't remember how much I paid, but I know it wasn't much. Also, right up there with those figures. I found an Atari 2600 with about 26 games, and I paid....THREE DOLLARS for it! Heck of a deal! I gave it to my friend Steve, who was moving to Florida, because he obsessed over the idea of finding one. I knew how bad he wanted one, so I surprised him with it right before he left for Florida. I also got a brand new sealed copy of Wedding Crashers. It had the receipt still attached and was nearly $20. All DVDs were a dollar. Unfortunately, my aunt sold the KISS action figures on Ebay, and I never saw any of the money. However, my friend Steve still has the Atari 2600, and it still works 20 years later!

When I was young, my parents were sent to Desert Storm and I was shipped to my grandparents place in Iowa. My grandfather was an avid ERTL collector. Being so he would bring me to every toy show he went to, or farming event that would have ERTL toys. My best memory was in school there, we took a trip to the ERTL factory and I my grandma sent me with a check to buy my first farm set with vehicles, livestock, and vehicles. I still have the set to this day! MAKE THE HUNT GREAT AGAIN!

I am an Avengers Fan, my favorite superhero is Captain America. He was the first Avenger of the Avengers, and I love his characters story of how he became Captain America. But as a kid we never got any of the toys we wanted, we were so poor. But now I am a senior citizen, almost 64 years of age I have that chance to connect with the toys I wished I had. Your videos Anthony give me that joy, and that understanding it’s never too late to have toys. Thank You Anthony…

G'day from Australia everyone. Firstly a big thank you to Anthony and his family for providing such wonderful content. I know that I am one of many that look forward to each and every video that you share with us, your 'virtual family'. I am an older fan at 64 of almost everything toy wise. AND I freely admit that I have never lost my childlike joy at receiving a new toy...I mean an item for my collection.... ok ok a toy I display and occasionally play with. Just don't tell anyone lol!!! There are many out there that would be more deserving than I to win this wonderful gift I am sure. I just find collecting helps in dealing with certain mental health issues that I and many others suffer. It is a means of escape for me at times when I need support. Blessings to all.

When I go to shows, I’m always focusing on filling out spots in my comic collection. My toys usually take a backseat during conventions, but my favorite toy find was courtesy of my mom finding my old, first run Star Wars figures. I thought they were LONG gone. But my parents tore down an old aluminum building that my grandparents had gotten at Sears back in the day. When they did, mom unearthed ALL of my Star Wars figures! They were in a cardboard box that was buried in the mud on the rotted out floor. She took them and gently cleaned them up, and had them in baggies the next time I was over. There’s something about the mud that protected them perfectly over the years. I never would’ve guessed it, but they look better than some people’s that’ve been protected in cases the whole time. I consider myself lucky to not only have found them again, but to have them found in such wonderful shape. I never thought I’d have my original Bossk back. Thanks mom! And thanks Anthony!

My favorite find at the flea market was actually found by my wife. Someone was selling all of the posters from an abandoned movie theater. There were hundreds of posters just stacked on tables. My wife pulled out an original Goonies B-style. That's not the common one they still reprint today. It's the one with the ripped map in front and the kids standing on a bluff. The poster sells for $1,500. They were selling poster $10 each or 3 for $20. It hangs in the center of my toy cave.

I got my girlfriend a purple Popples toy for her birthday when we first moved in together. This was her favorite toy as a child and she'd always regretted leaving it behind when she went into foster care. It was a powerful moment and I can't tell you how many tears she cried that day! I felt like I'd returned something precious, a part of her she'd thought was lost to time. I hate to say that I have never ever been to a toy show or any collector show/convention ever!, When I retire way in the future I plan to go to them. If could possibly see just one holy grail at a toy show it would have to be the infamous Dick Tracy Blank figure. HANDS DOWN! Why? It simple because that toy is fogged with so much controversy. Does it even actually exist? As the following option if was fortunate to stumble at a toy show the official Mexican boxed Thundercats's Lair ( and if I could afford it lol) would love to make up for the mistake I made as a lil kid when was on vacation in Mexico City when that came out and passed up on it only because it was in Spanish. lol Unless time Travel is available to make up that huge mistake that still regrets to this day!

This is kinda silly, but probably my happiest find at a toy show was when I got a great deal on a boxed MMPR Serpentera zord. It was in great shape and the price was spectacular. So of course I had to take it out of the box to check it for any defects and once you snap the tail on that thing, there's no taking it off safely or getting it back in the box. So I had to walk around this toy show carrying Serpentera like a baby in one arm while carrying all my bags in the other hand, I must have looked like a crazy proud papa or something, but people were saying to me, "oh cool pick up" or "awesome find" as I walked around, it was a fantastic day!

My favorite toy show find EVER was a big junk bag full of Takara Henshin Cyborg 12" action figures (which are sci-fi reimaginings of Hasbro's original GI Joe line, complete with full license) and loads of their accessories, for only 2,000yen (around $15) at Super Festival here in Tokyo. Even the cheapest reissues of that line go for $100+ now, some closer to $1,000. But I was happy to have a bag of loose figures to swap parts and enjoy for hours and hours ✨🧠❤👊

Not a Toy Show find, but I did find a huge collection of M.A.S.K toys at a garage sale for $30. Another great GS find was a very nice collection of Red Lines and Matchbox cars that are in immaculate condition.

I found TMNT Muckman about 12 years ago at a local toy show. The vendor didn't care at all about him and I got a great deal. The deal wasn't the big part, it was finding a figure that I loved as a kid and adding it to my collection. I need Joe Eybeball to complete it though! So the hunt continues.

My favorite toy show find was a beat up red shirt muscle mutt that was apparently owned by the seller for roughly 15 years. The guy had no idea how much it was worth and he demanded that I purchase it for only 20 bucks. I tried and tried to offer him more money but he refused. He said “you’re passionate about the item that’s more than I could ever receive in money”. Sticks with me to this day. And he is the centerpiece of my small but mighty collection. I would absolutely love to get my hands on some mad balls but the toy shows around me aren’t very productive and I rarely encounter anything worth purchasing.

I don't collect vintage toys and I've never been to a toy show, I just love learning from your videos and hope to find something at the thrift shops or flea markets that we have in the UK . I've only found some TMNT and Bucky o hare figures so far but I am the other side of the world so don't expect much. Love ya froggy keep inspiring by showing others that being nice costs nothing 😊

My holy grail item is a super minty Snarf from the original toy line. I loved so many cartoons from the 80s, but Thundercats definitely has a special place, my mom was a single mom and met my Dad when I was like 5/6, and it's the first thing we bonded over. We'd wake up and he'd be getting ready for work and I'd be sitting there and we'd watch thundercats, I started calling him Dad pretty soon after that. Snarf was always my favorite

I know it isn't something new, but getting a deal on an Imagenex Batman Batcave my 2 year old son picked out at the very first convention he went to here in Santa Rosa and just melted my heart. Melted the seller's heart too cause he just gave it to him seeing how excited he was holding it. Still a major play toy in his arsenal today.

Andi from Munich, Germany here! Unfortunately toy culture is just not the same in Germany as in America .. I follow your channel for quite some time now and you‘re living the dream! I really would love to collect stuff like TMNT or Darkwing Duck, but I also love little bizarre toy lines as well! Btw I actually ordered some stuff vom Tim Baron after you featured him in some episode! Love it :3 Shoutout to you! Keep on rocking 🚀

Always brightens my day to see you posted. Tim’s collection is AMAZING. My best toy show find was a copy of Earthbound for Super Nintendo. Scooped it up so fast it didn’t feel real, one of my favorite games growing up and it felt so good to get it back again.

I am a star wars, gijoe, marvel, transformers, madballs, extremist. I cant pick my greatest deal because i got them all at extremely good deals. My besr one is probably a pink furby with blue eys, I got him at goodwills for 2 bucks. He was extremely rare and valuable. Me not knwoing the prices on him, I sold him for 80, but now I think he was worth at least 200 or 300. Even though I sold it, its still a pretty good deal. Thats no moon, thats a battle station@ Idk 😂

Damn that was a crazy basement filled with the goods! I'm currently trying to get one of every toy line (at least), which is an impossible task. Not been to many toy shows but I did just find a Rock Lord that I needed the other day, in MINT condition. Stoked. Great vid! Please include me in the contest!

My grail that finally came up on preorder again and I’ll have it in a few months is Hot Toys 1/6 scale 1989 Batmobile. As far as favorite pick up at a toy show is probably a chalk art picture of Boba Fett that I have hanging above my tv in collection room.

Only a couple shows come to my area. Last time I went nothing special. But I would love to start a dukes of hazard or chips collection. So finding a good deal to start those collections would be pretty neat. I mainly a LEGO guy though. So it would be awesome to find a Airport Shuttle currently that’s my White Whale

My favorite toy show find was a Sears brand battery operated auto transport truck from the 1970's. It is programmed by pushing the buttons on the roof of the truck to tell it what direction to go. It would haul up to 14 matchbox or hot wheels sized cars. It's kind of a cheesy toy but I had one as a kid and when I found it at the toy show all they memories came flooding back.
