Frogs & Trees

Frogs and trees....
one of the things about being set free with a camera in Yasuni (well, technically across the Tiputini river from Yasuni) @tiputiniusfq,
is the WILDNESS.
Being around a lot of passionate scientists, I was reminded again how rare it is to encounter so many 'different' lifeforms in a given day, in a given hour.
A hectare of forest was studied near here, close to Yasuni, and was found to contain 87 species of amphibians - almost half the number in the United States and Canada combined, and three times as many as the whole of Western Europe.
Yasuni as a whole contains 50% more frog species than the entire United States and Canada combined.
And here in this minute of footage you are seeing a medicinal frog, a tree frog, and a poisonous frog!
All encountered in one day.
