Thank you, I found this very inspirational but also emotional. The state of the UK and People's mindset is terrible. You inspired me to start Muay Thai a year and a half ago, thank you. I've just had my first fight and I have my second next weekend, I'm also planning on coming to Thailand in a few months. Muay Thai has shaped me into a better man and I can't wait to take my life to the next level!

Motivational and validating. Feels good knowing I'm not crazy for wanting to trade everything I have here for a life that is truly fulfilling. Glad you found your purpose in life brother and hope I find mine. More content like this please 🙌🏼

I've said it for a while that Community, Purpose and Faith are the 3 most important things for human beings and you smashed it explaining that exact concept through your own experiences through the timeline leading up to now. Great video brother 🙏🏾

Yo torell I relate a lot to your story. Had a quarter life crisis at 25 when I was working a comfortable office job. Sacked it in to chase my dream of working as a stuntman in the film industry, I'm now making absolute peanuts compared to what I used to but I'm infinitely happier. I'm still in the UK and I'm lucky to have brought a few people along with me on my spiritual journey and I agree so wholeheartedly that travelling opens your eyes to the crazy mindset the average UK citizen has towards life and living. It's ego fueled and many never wake up from it spending their whole lives chasing misery without ever stopping to ask why. Still in the UK and like I said lucky to have a solid crew of people around me who love and support me but that big initial shift caused massive waves. I hope your content continues to inspire younger people to make these big decisions, to travel, to reconsider what life is about. I actually enjoy being poor, when I've been poor it's made me a better person than having money ever did. 10/10 great content bro keep inspiring!

Bro rhis man is deadset spitting facts about the average day to day life and the way it is… I swear I’ve been watching for a minute now and fuck man I need to get back to Thailand.. I feel like I’m in. My crash out rn bro life is so mundane and I can’t understand why people are happy to just get by without ever going for something more fulfilling

Great video Torrell. People need to hear this stuff. I felt like this since starting a spiritual journey around 15 years ago. Our lives almost have the same path, although I had children from the age of 19 so I’ve had them depend on me. However, now they’re are grown up we’re thinking of relocating over to Thailand. We currently stay out there 3 months a year. I’m a UI/UX designer who also does front end code. I got a pretty stable gig where I can work remotely. This country has been going down for years. I’ve been practicing Buddhism for a decade now and you’re so right about attachment. Great content alongside your Muay Thai stuff 👌🏻

Thanks for sharing your journey :) I haven't shared mine since way back when I did these huge ass Draw My Life projects on my channel, and I have no way of putting that much time into the content creation, with the way my life's balanced now as a family man, pedagouge and KZbinr, but this type of format I might be able to do. Did you write a script or just go with some keywords for chapters you wanted to cover? I've got some big life changes to share with my audience. Anyways, loving the mix of Muay Thai, breakdancing, and motivational content, keep it up :)

Hey man, been tuning in to your videos for a while and I really appreciate your message. I feel like I have a lot of similarities to your story. I am 18 and going to college to become a software engineer/developer. But I have really taken the "Learn Valuable Skills" tip to heart. Do you have any good online course recommendations? I am trying to learn more and pick something good, so I can break into the field. And maybe I can fly to Thailand and train one day like you! I have been training Muay Thai/MMA since a jhit and if I could, I would be in Thailand rn lol. Thank you.

What’s up Torell I’m thinking about visiting SE Asia and ending my trip with visiting Thailand and training Muay Thai for maybe a month-ish. I’ve done some Groupons over the years and boxed friends recreationally, but I’m really not any good. Do you have any tips for picking gyms or anything for what I assume would classify me as a beginner? Like I’m sure it depends on your gym, but would the culture be more like “it’s dope you’re jumping right in despite your inexperience” and happy for me, or would it be more like “why tf would you come to Thailand before mastering the basics” and more confused about why I’m even there. Like I don’t mind everyone being better than me, but I wouldn’t want to be in a situation where everyone dreads drilling with me because I’m not good and they’re not benefiting or something.
